"Happy Birthday to you!" Everyone sang. I was so happy, it was my 17th birthday, and all of my favorite people were here. Jesse, Carter, Kyle, Danny, and Louis. Louis lied to his mum, saying he was going to play videogames with Jesse. But he was here, that's all that mattered.
"Open mine first!" Danny shouted. I smiled, and opened his present. It was a giant notebook filled with grid paper. I loved to make things with grid paper, hearts, anything really.
"Thank you Danny, I love it." I gave him a hug, and moved on.
"Open mine next!" Jesse shouted. His was really big, I ripped of the paper, and found a box. Inside the box, was the acoustic I loved at Guitar World.
"Jesse! I love it! Thank you so much!" I hugged him tight.
"Not a problem little sister." We always thought of each other as siblings. I smiled, and opened Carter and Kyle's, they're brothers. I ripped off the paper, and found a limited edition Edgar Allen Poe book, with all of the poems he'd ever written. I loved Edgar Allen Poe.
"Thank you guys, I love it, I'll start reading tonight," I say with a wink, hugging them both. Finally Louis came up with a small, nicely wrapped box.
"Happy Birthday love." He gave me the box. I ripped the paper, feeling bad, as it probably took him a while to get it so nice, and opened the box. Inside was a beautiful diamond necklace shaped like a heart. I got teary and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you so much Louis. It's beautiful." Some tears escaped my eyes.
"No problem love. Happy birthday." He kissed my cheek, and helped me put it on. Carter, Kyle, Jesse, and Danny gawked at the scene. Me and Louis just lookedinto each other's eyes. His pale blue eyes never leaving my gaze.
"Who wants cake?" my mother practically sang from the kitchen, ruining our moment.
"Oh! Me!" Jesse cried, running into the kitchen. Carter, Kyle, and Danny followed him in, leaving Louis and I alone. He reached his hand up to my face, and gently wiped away a stray tear.
"Ella, I-" he was cut off by Jesse rushing back in, cake in hand, jumping all over the place.
"CAKE!!" he shouted. I laughed at the sight of him, jumping around our sitting room. I looked back at Louis.
"You were saying something?"
"Doesn't matter, I'll tell you later. Let's go get a piece of cake," he said, changing the subject quickly. I followed him to the kitchen and got a piece of my mum's delicious red velvet cake. After everyone except Louis left, we went upstairs to my bedroom and watched Paranormal Activity 4. His mum thought he was spending the night a Jesse's. I jumped, and squealed at some parts, but Louis was there. He put an arm around me, and let me rest my head on his shoulder. After the movie, we justsat on my bed and talked.
"You were saying something earlier, what was it?"
"I said I'd tell you later," he muttered.
"But it is later!" I whined, childishly. He chuckled and looked me in the eye. He grabbed my small hand in his larger one, and rubbed small circles in my palm.
"I was going to say, Ella, we're best friends, but I was wondering if you wanted to be something more." I was shocked to say the least, but I had wanted this to happen for a long time. He continued.
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
"What about your mum? She hates me."
"She doesn't have to know. We've kept our friendship from her for 12 years, how much harder could this be?" I smiled.
"I guess Jesse can stop teasing us about Loulla," I giggled. He smiled, and pulled me into a hug. My head rested on his chest, and he had his arms around my waist.
"I'm glad you said yes."
"Why?"
"Because now I can do this." I was confused until he lifted my head by my chin, and crushed my lips with his. It was short, but it was still a kiss. He pulled away, and looked into my green eyes. His pale blue eyes shining. I fell asleep that night in Louis' arms, I finally had my someone.
*Chorus of 'Awwww's* Do you ship Loulla? xD I'll update again tomorrow or Sunday, comment feedback please! I wanna know your opinions of my storeh!
