"No, it's not that. While you guts were gone I got accepted into Stanford University."
Chapter 20
-Louis-
"W-What?"
"I sent out college applications, and Stanford accepted. I didn't think I'd ever see you again, so I did it to get away from here." She wanted to leave because of me.
"I would have come back even if you didn't want me to Ella. Like it or not, you'll always be my best friend Ella Harmon." I take both of her hands in mine and squeeze them slightly. "I will always be here for you Ella. Even if I have a girlfriend that isn't you, I'll never abandon you."
"Thanks Lou. Well, now that we've made up, I don't know what I'm going to do about school!"
"Whatever it is you choose, go with your heart. If you want a education, then go for it. If you want to stay with us, go for it." She smiles, and kisses my cheek.
"Thanks Lou. I can always count on you for good advice."
"Good advice is my middle name."
"I thought it was William," she giggles.
"You know what I mean." So I guess we're back together? Eh, I don't care. She's forgiven me.
