Kaitlyn's POV
"Kaitlyn's going on a little date today mom" Sarah says winking at me
I roll my eyes and continue eating my bacon and eggs
"Oh really?" My mom asks raising an eyebrow "who?"
I didn't respond and kept my eyes down on my plate
"Cough Hayes cough" Sarah faked and started laughing
I smiled and nudged her in the shoulder
"Oh my gosh really Kaitlyn" my mom smiled
"Yea, I'm pretty excited actually" I say picking up my plate and placing it in the dish washer
"Well I hope you two have fun" my mom says
"Go get ready loser!" Sarah yells shoving me up the stairs
I shove her back to get off me and sprint up to my room, I close my door behind me so no one else can bother me
Just as I was gonna walk into my bathroom I hear a noise from my phone

I smile and walk into my bathroom to start getting ready. I put my phone on shuffle for music and begin giving my hair some beach waves
Why not? I'll be at the beach so my hair would just work with it. I then apply water proof mascara and then grab my bathing suit
I slip it on along with shorts and a crop top. To finish off the look I clip on my K&H necklace, I leave the ring sitting on my dresser because I don't want to loose it in the water
Just as I was putting on my flip flops I hear the door bell ring.
"Kaitlyn Hayes is here!" Sarah yells from down stairs
"Ok I'll just a minute!" I yell back
I quickly grab my phone, towel, sunscreen, and sunglasses and shove it all in a bag to take
I jog down the steps to find Sarah and Hayes talking
As soon as I reach the bottom step I look up and see Hayes starring at me
I give him a smile and he smiles back
"Ready to go?" He asks extending his hand for me to take
"Yep! Bye Sarah" I say walking out the door
Sarah waves goodbye as we get inside Hayes's Jeep Wrangler
"Wow nice car" I say admiring the huge car
"Thanks, just got it" he says pulling out my drive way
"So what's the plan?" I ask opening my window so the wind blows through my hair like those movies
"Not telling" Hayes said smiling
"Ugh, I don't like surprises" I say hitting him in the arm
"I know" he says laughing
I roll my eyes and turn up the volume in the car
After the long drive Hayes finally pulls into the beach
"I see why I needed a swim suit" I say looking out at the ocean
Hayes hops out of the car and runs to my side to open the door for me
"Why thank you" I say getting out and kissing his cheek
Hayes blushes and leads me to the beach holding my hand
