Prologue

(Before you start reading this, this book is a sequel to my other book Hang on. so if you have not read that yet go read it then come back to this story)

Well, welcome to the sequel! Hope you enjoy this as much as Hang on. Here's Maybe again~

Kaitlyn's POV

I see him in the hallways at school, across the street, and everywhere 24/7.

There's no escaping the presence of Hayes Grier, I don't deny seeing him. I just wish he saw me.

It seems like it was yesterday getting off that plane coming home and seeing Hayes again.

But in reality, its been two years and I'm no longer that 13 year old dreaming a whole summer dating Hayes

I'm now 16 livng in the same spot that my dream took place and living across from the Griers.

Everything in the dream like Sarah and Nash dating to me getting injured at a basketball game.

Except for me and Hayes.

I've never told Hayes about my dream because he never seemed interested into me so why bother.

He shows little interest in me so why tell him about a relationship we were in when really it was all my imagination.

Don't get me wrong Hayes and i are still best friends, just not like before.

Things happen in high school, people change and don't act the way they did as kids

Hayes becamethe king of football and the boy that all the girls want to date.

For me you may wonder?

Well I'm just doing a lot of studying and being a straight A student with a athlectic record

Hayes however isn't doing so swell with acedemics and is in lower classes so i don't see him in any of my classes anymore

i offered to tutor him but he always used the excuse of football practice or going out with one of the cheerleaders

i quit offereing because i got tired of the excuses so now we just talk over text or not at all.

the only face to face communication we ever do is at parties when we run into eachother.

When the Grier's have their annual parties I rarely get a word in with Hayes

Nash on the other is someone I'd rather talk to more often. Sarah and Nash both graduated from high school last year and are both in college.

They plan on moving in together sometime and start a family in the near future

They dated the rest of their high school years and are still going great

It's crazy how i live in the exact house i dreamt and i live across from hayes, its crazy how a lot of these things have happened

It still shocks me of what happened and I think about it a lot

Stacy is living and okay, i was overjoyed when i found out that was all a dream.

As soon as i saw her the day i moved back i hugged her so tight, i remember that day.

she was so confused while i kept saying "you're okay!" but she shrugged it off

Today we are still best friends and i have other friends that i made when i moved here that summer

Sydnee is now a good friend of mine along with others. Taylee still comes back with visits so we can see eachother often.

Grace is over nash now, that faded away when she turned 14 and found a new guy to like.

so pretty much everything is ok and I can live my teenage years.

i just have to try again with Hayes.

I'm so excited you guys don't even know! I'm excited to write a sequel for you all and i just hope you guys like it! Nice intro right? gives you some backgroud about whats happened in the two years

If you guys ever feel sad or what ever just go back and reread Hang on because its gonna be lonely book that no one reads anymore becuase of this sequel so just go back every once in while and read it :)
