The Future in a Flash

Barry and I walked down the street hand in hand.
"Jitters?" He asked.
"Sure."
When we walked in, Iris was there standing in line.
"There's my favorite couple!" She greeted.
Barry smiled down at me.

I woke with a start. Barry and I, a couple? I have to ask Kaitlin if all my visions were accurate. I glanced at the clock. Seven a.m. Might as well get up. I took a long hot shower, clouding up the mirrors. I threw on a S.T.A.R. Labs sweatshirt and jeans, put my hair in a braid, and texted Kaitlin.
To Kaitlin:
Do u want to help me find an apartment?
Sure. I'll pick u up in 20,
I finished getting ready and grabbed some toast before Kaitlin came.
Kaitlin cam exactly twenty minutes after she texted. I yelled at my mom I was leaving and slid into Kaitlin's car.
"Morning." I said.
"Hey, sorry again about yesterday." She said.
"It's okay." I said, "I need to get over it."
She nodded.  We drove in silence for awhile. Then I remembered to ask her about my vision.
"Hey, do you think all my visions are accurate?"
She pondered on it for a minute, "I think they're accurate unless something happens to change or prevent the event."
I nodded.
"Why, did you have another vision?" She asked.
I was quiet for a moment. I didn't want her to know about the vision, but I didn't want to lie to her either.
"IdreamedthatBarryandIwereacouple." I rambled.
"What was that?"
I sighed "I dreamed that Barry and I were a couple."
She just laughed at me. For five minutes. She had to pull over so she wouldn't crash.
"Kaitlin," I whined, "It's not funny!"
"Yes it is, now, let's go find you an apartment. There's one in my building that just opened up." She said, wiping her eyes.
"Okay."
We decided to check out the building in Kaitlin's building as a last resort and looked at the ones I found online last night. The third one we looked at perfect. It was in my price range and right across the street from Jitters.

The next few weeks went by in a blur. I moved into my apartment (I made Barry help me unpack  all my stuff because he could get it done in ten minutes), I got a job at Jitters,  I spent my weekends at S.T.A.R. Labs training, and I called Kaitlin every time I had a vision.
I was at work one day when a vision came over me.

Give me all your money! This is a heist!" There was a man in a mask.
He was in the middle of Central City bank. He had to a gun in one hand and a sack in the other. People were running and screaming. Some were on their phones talking to their loved ones.
"Wendy, It's  Monday, June 15th at 6pm. I am at the bank, there's a robbery, tell the kids I love them!"
The robber suddenly grew spikes all over, "money, now!"

Monday, June 15th. That was today. I checked the clock. It was 5:50. I fumbled for the phone.
"Barry! Get to the bank now! Meta human, he can turn his skin to spikes." I practically yelled into the phone.
"On my way." He said, hanging up.
Suddenly, I was at S.T.A.R. Labs.
"Describe me every thing you saw." Barry said, before flashing out.
Cisco tracked him and have him directions. When he got to the bank it was 5:56.
"Do you see the meta?" Cisco asked.
"Yeah, he's here. Now, Chandler, tell me everything you saw." He said, flashing to a spot to hide.
I described the scene. Then Barry told me when the stuff I described really happened.
"Guys, I can't fight him, he's literally a human cactus." Barry said.
"I can tweak the suit. Just get everyone out." Said Cisco.
Barry was back within minutes.
"Oh yeah, Flash and Ulterior save the day!" Yelled Cisco.
Apparently I'm Ulterior now. "not yet, Cisco, we still have to catch the guy."
"Yeah, 'The Lance' is gonna be tricky." He said.
"Really Cisco," I said, "Lance?"
He just shrugged and pulled a twizzler out of his pocket.
