Jessie and I ran down the hallway. I led her down the twists and turns of the hall ways I had barely had time to memorize myself. After a back track, or two. (It was five. I lie.) we found ourselves back at the breach.
"You came through that?" Jessie asked in disbelief.
"Yeah, it's actually cool." I replied.
Just then a voiced boomed down the hallway, "HEY!"
"I have a feeling I'm about to find out how cool it actually is."
We jumped, I fell. Again.
Jessie pulled me to my feet. The familiarity of the Star labs basement was not as comforting as I had hoped it would be.
"Chandler?!" Barry.
I whirled to Jessie, "What do I say?"
"Look I don't know you very well, but the truth might work." Jessie bore her eyes into me.
I'm an idiot. Going it alone doesn't work, especially in this business.
"Barry!" I called out.
I ran out into the corridor, Jessie close behind. When I saw Barry I ran to him. I decided I "no longer gave a shit" and kissed him. Right then and there. Kaitlin, Cisco and Jessie all watching. When we pulled away he immediately pulled me into his chest.
"Where were you?" He whispered into my hair.
"Better question, who's this?" Cisco pointed at Jessie.
I let go of Barry and backed up toward Jessie. "I have some explaining to do." I said.

...
We all sat in the cortex. Kaitlin rans tests on Jessie while I sat and told Barry and Cisco everything.
"I'm sorry." I said.
"It's okay, Chan," said Barry, "You're okay and that's all that matters."
Cisco added, "Now that we know we can prepare."
I nodded, I felt an immense weight of guilt from even considering going through with it.
"Do you think you can defeat Zoom?" I asked.
"No," Kaitlin replied, "I think we can defeat Zoom."
Okay! I know this is short, and I said I was gonna give up, but you all deserve a proper ending and that's what you're gonna get. Thank you all so much for putting up with my year+ procrastination.
