I heaved a sigh of relief and fought hard to stop myself from crying. I turned to Tom. "Thank you..., and please thank Mr Simmonds for me. It's so very kind of you both to go to all this trouble just for me."

Tom managed a smile as he picked up my overnight bag and suit carrier. "It's not a problem. You are a valued guest Mr Clarke."

I laughed, taking the suit carrier from him and picking the other glass of red wine. "Oh! Call me Freddie...., pleeeease? You calling me Mr Clarke makes me sound so old."

He grinned broadly. "Well we are both five years or so older than when we last saw each other, aren't we?"

I quickly cast my eyes around the room, checking that I had everything, before closing the door and following Tom along the corridor. Instead of using the lift he surprised me by going through the doors to the stairwell. He produced a key from his pocket and used it to open a staff only service lift.

"Just in case your stepbrother has it in mind to follow you," Tom clarified as the doors opened. "This way he cannot tell what floor you are on."

He pressed the first floor button and the doors closed. The lift moved very slowly. "You're booked into room 102 under the name of Mr Jones. As Mr Simmonds said, no one will be told your new room number, so please, don't leave this room until the morning, okay?"

Standing so close to Tom again after all this time aroused me. It didn't help that he was wearing a seductive smelling cologne that I couldn't quite place either. It wasn't Tom's lack of stunning good looks that had ever attracted me to him. It had always been his personality and the air of confidence and reliability that seemed to surround him that had instigated that. Oh..., and his cock, of course. I could never forget that beauty.

I gazed into his eyes and smiled.. "Yes, of course.... It's good to see you again. I've often thought about you and wondered what happened to you."

"Good to see you too." He answered. "I've often thought about you as well. I have to admit, that in the past, I've dwelled too long on what might have happened between us if we hadn't been parted."

The lift stopped at the first floor with a jolt. As we left the lift Tom locked it behind us and led me down the corridor and opened the door to the room.

I gasped. It was far bigger than my old room.

Tom put my bag on the bag stand. "It's one of our emergency rooms. On function nights we keep back a few nice rooms in case any guests decide to stay overnight. We also allow some staff, if they are on a late shift followed by an early shift, to use them on function nights too...., if they are free of course. I had earmarked this one for me but I am happy to give it up for you."

"Really? Now that makes me feel awful."

Tom laughed. "I can use your old room. Maybe if that Tudor guy comes a knocking......" Tom waggled his eyebrows suggestively.

"Don't even think it, Tom. He's not that good a fuck."

Tom looked perplexed. "You've had sex with your stepbrother?"

"Yeah! Both of them. Tudor was fucking me when I was at school where he was sort of my boyfriend...., and Saxon I met recently at a bar, but didn't know he was Tudor's twin brother. I only found out that they were going to be my stepbrothers when Dad told me he was going to remarry."

"Coincidences, right? They seem to pop up all the time." Tom answered, giving me a big smile. "Like your Dad choosing this venue to have his wedding. I saw Clarke on the listing but didn't associate it with your family at all. I didn't know he was divorced from your Mum either."
