One of Kayden's henchmen made a good point to quite blatantly pour a colorless drug on a cloth right in front of her that Billie knew to be chloroform and then stuff the damn thing on her face. She was knocked out cold for a good two hours. By the time she woke up, she was in a cozy looking bedroom with pot plants around it and glass walls that showed view of a beautiful tropical forest outside. Being in her line of work, waking up in these conditions: disorientated, in a strange location and with a pounding headache was a norm.

Billie sat up and looked down at herself to see if she was tied up or confined in any way. She wasn't. Though, there was a strange gray long sleeve men's V-neck shirt over her body. Nothing else. The dress that she'd been wearing earlier disappeared.

"Well, this is the oddest I've ever been captured," she muttered. She got up to her feet, going to the door and attempting to open it. Of course, it was locked. She reached up to her hair, finding the pins that she had used to hold her hair together removed. Her hair was loose and brushed, falling gently on her shoulders withe strands that barely curled due to her former hairstyle. "Fuck."

She looked around the room for anything else that she could use. Walked up to the windows, knocking on it to test its strength with the idea that she would use the chair of the dresser to break it open and make a run for it through the forest. Just then, the door swung open with a long squeak.

"Aah, my beautiful pearl has woken up,"came Kayden's voice.

She spun around, crossing her arms over chest and scowling towards her kidnapper. He continued his journey closer to her. "How long do you intend on keeping me here, Klide?"

He reached her, standing just in front of her. He towered over her by an inch or two, but Kai was taller. "How long? You live here now."

Billie's mouth went agape. "What?"

"I paid Adan a good fifteen thousand for you."

Billie's mouth snapped shut to grit her teeth in rage. Her outrage made her arms stretch in expression. She burst, "Fifteen thousand?! He sold me for just fifteen thousand?! That fucking-"

"Okay, stop right there, mammi. I don't allow cussing in my house, you got that?" He stepped closer, but she withdrew sharply. He continued, "Pretty lips don't use ugly words."

"I'll only stop if you get me that fuck out of here."

"Don't!" She flinched at the sudden rise of his voice. He was so close that the outburst hit hard on her ossicles. "Test me, gorgeous. Don't do that, hm? I don't want to have to punish you, you've been through enough."

Billie tried to pull away, but he captured her in his embrace. She tensed at the sound of punishment. There was no telling what kind of guy Kayden was, but regardless of that she didn't want to know how he gives punishments to misbehaving women. Things could get extremely unpleasant, and she chose to avoid that.

Kayden pulled her away, but his grip was still firm on her forearm. "Listen to me carefully. There are rules in his house that I need you to follow or else you'd have to suffer consequences, okay? And we don't want that, do we?"

Abidance took quite some time to instill on a person in some cases. Though, in others, it took just one look to discipline someone on how to act around you. Such as a teacher. Students would often determine by the first look or the first few words spoken by the miss or sir to assume how much they wanted to respect them. Kayden showed signs of brutality, but there was some kindness beneath it. Conditional kindness, but kindness nonetheless. That was evidence of volatility, which meant not respect, but rather holding her tongue was certainly mandatory.

Her head shook up and down. Kayden grinned at her in response. "Good girl." He rubbed his hands over either of her arms. "I'll get Layla over here and she'll explain everything to you, you got that?" Another head nod. "Good job, princess. Now excuse me." He kissed her forehead and left.
