Sky’s POV
“Ok everything is ready I’ll get the blow torch.” Adrian says as we set up the fireworks. “Awesome sounds good.” I tell him. “Babe please be careful.” Lizzie calls out. “I will, don’t worry Honey.” I call back as she sits on the patio chair next to Melanie and Scarlett. “Ok I got the torch. Oh, almost time to count down.” Adrian says. “You two are cute together.” He adds. “Thank you. I’m a very lucky woman.” I tell him. “Time to count down!” Hunter yells. “TEN! NINE! EIGHT! SEVEN! SIX! FIVE! FOUR! THREE! TWO! ONE! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!” We all cheer and Adrian and I set off the fireworks and I walk over to Lizzie after I light the fuse. “Happy new year Baby.” I tell her. “Happy new year Babe.” She says standing up and I wrap my arms around her and lean down to connect our lips. After about an hour Lizzie, I, and the twins head back home to get some sleep.

Lizzie’s POV
Last night was really great. I got to know Melanie a bit more. She’s a really sweet woman. I’m currently laying with my head on Sky’s chest listening to the calming sound of her steady heartbeat. If you told me that I would fall in love and have a child with my college roommate and marry them before I left for college I would have said you were crazy, but I wouldn’t change a thing. “Wake up you two!” Ashley says excitedly. “Ugh, what is it MK?” Sky says. “First off I’m Ashley and second it’s time to start working on the nursery. Come on you two.” She says. “We still have six months to work on it.” I groan curling into Sky’s side. “Yeah but you two also have school so come on we can do it while you are still on break.” Ashley says. “But sleeeeepppp.” Sky says. “No, it's noon already.” She says. “I thought you were here on business?” Sky says. “Well we are but the business is working on the nursery.” Ashley replies. “Are you serious?” I ask. “Yep now come on we have a lot to do.” She says. “Fine, I'm up. I know you won’t leave me alone and let me sleep so I’m up.” Sky says getting out of bed. “No, now I’m cold.” I whine. “Come here.” Sky says with her arms open so I get out of bed and into her arms I hang onto her like a koala. “Aww you guys are so cute.” Ashley says. “Yes Lizzie is very cute.” Sky says, making me blush and hide my face in her neck. “First food I’m hungry.” Sky says. “Me too. Then again I feel like I’m always hungry nowadays.” I say. “What do you want? I’ll make it for you.” She asks. “Chocolate chip pancakes.” I tell her. “Ok chocolate chip pancakes it is.” She says. “Hey you two.” MK says as we enter the kitchen and Sky puts me down on one of the barstools. “Hey.” Sky and I say at the same time. “So did Ashley tell you what the plan for today is?” MK asks. “Yes she did. Sky accidentally called her MK.” I say causing Sky to groan. “Ha, that's funny. Don’t worry Sky, you will get the hang of it eventually.” MK says. “I hope so. It’s very confusing with you two.” She replies.

Sky’s POV
After I make breakfast for Lizzie and I, we head back upstairs to get to work as Ashley puts it. “Wow this is a beautiful room.” MK says. “It was my parents room.” I say from the doorway. “Are you ok Honey?” Lizzie asks when she sees the change in my demeanor. “Yeah it’s just the last time I was in here was to get the clothes for my parents to be buried in.” I tell her. “Hey you don’t have to go in there if you don’t want to. Take your time. I can't imagine how painful this is for you.” Lizzie says with her hand on my cheek and I lean into her touch. “I will be ok Lizzie. Let’s  get started.” I tell her. “Ok just remember if you need to step out and take a break you can.” She says. “I know thank you.” I tell her, leaning down and giving her a kiss. “Ok we can start by getting the furniture out.” I tell Ashley and MK. Lizzie is going to be our ‘supervisor’ because I don’t want her to have to do heavy lifting while pregnant. We get the dresser downstairs and move to the bedside tables. I stop in my tracks when I see the picture of me with my parents at my high school graduation. “Sky? Baby?” I hear Lizzie say from beside me. “Huh? Sorry I just uh I miss them.” I say. “Why don’t we take a break.” Lizzie suggests. “Yeah I think that’s a good idea.” I tell her as I try not to cry I walk out of my parents room well the nursery and straight into Lizzie and I’s room. I sit on the bed and break down.

Lizzie’s POV
“Is she ok?” Ashley asks after Sky leaves the room. “I’ll check on her.” I tell her and I go to our room and see her on the bed crying. “Hey I’m here. I’ve got you Baby.” I tell her as I wrap my arms around her. “I miss them so much Lizzie. They will never meet their grandkid and it kills me.” She cries. “I don’t know what you are going through all I know is it must hurt like hell. I wish I could take your pain away Baby I really do.” I say. “I know you do. You are an amazing woman Lizzie. I just wish they could meet you.” She says. “Tell me about them.” I tell her. “I’d love to here sit with me.” She says patting the spot next to her.
