Chapter #18: Baby’s Kicking.

Lizzie’s POV
It was Sky’s twentieth birthday on Monday and we just spent the day together. She didn’t really want to celebrate but she was ok with a nice dinner out with me, Nancy, Walter Sr, Walt, Scarlett, Melanie, and Mom, who we didn’t know was coming. I am now five months to the day I got pregnant since it was well the only time we had unprotected sex. So I assume that’s when I got pregnant. Sky has been attending my 7th hour with me ever since the day we had sex in the staff restroom which is actually where I’m going to meet her. I hear her do the knock and I quickly pull her in. We’ve had more sex after finding out I am pregnant than we did before. Just as my skirt and underwear pool at my feet and I get her jeans down to her ankles the door opens and one of Sky’s Professors walks in. “WHOA NOT ON CAMPUS!!” The shriek as they cover their eyes luckily Sky still has her boxers and is using her body to shield mine. We quickly get our clothes back on. “Sorry Professor.” Sky says. “I assume this is your wife.” They say. “Yes Sir this is Elizabeth.” She says. “I know you are married but please not on the school campus.” He says sternly. “Yes Sir.” I say. “Come on, we don't want to be late to your class.” Sky says to me and I nod in agreement we get our things and bolt out of there.

Sky’s POV
“Good afternoon you two, how are you on this fabulous Wednesday?” Professor Sadie Young asks as we walk in. We always come early so we can talk. We have become friends with Sadie but that doesn’t affect how she treats Lizzie as a student. Sadie Young and my geometry professor Harper Eve are the only one of our professors that are actually supportive of Lizzie and I getting married and having a baby together in college. They are also married to each other but didn't change their last names because they were professors here at NYU when they met. We are having them over for dinner on Saturday along with Scarlett and Mom  who flew out last week and has taken over for the twins who had to go back home. “I’m good, I've got Lizzie by my side so I’m doing good.” I tell him. “And I’ve got Sky by my side so I’m doing good as well.” Lizzie says. “So how is the nursery coming along? Has the gift I got you arrived yet?” Sadie asks. “It did. Thank you, it's a beautiful mobiel.” Lizzie tells her. “Wonderful. Now as much as I would love to continue to talk about little baby Lucile I have to get class started since everyone is arriving.” She says. So Lizzie and I go and take our seats well, more like I take a seat since Lizzie likes to sit in my lap.

We are almost done with class and Lizzie is on my lap as she takes her notes. My arms are wrapped gently around her, my hands resting on the small baby bump and my chin on her shoulder then I feel something and my eyes tear up. “Sky oh my god. Did you feel it too?” She whispers excitedly. “I did, she's a strong one.” I smile. After about fifteen minutes Sadie speaks up. “Ok class you are dismissed, remember to study for the test on Friday.” She tells the class and once all of the other students have left Lizzie starts to squeal with excitement. “What’s with the squealing?” Sadie asks. “She kicked Lucile, kicked. She’s never done that before.” Lizzie says happily. “That’s amazing. Oh and Sky you can’t be in class on Friday when we are doing the text.” She says. “Ok that is fine with me. I’ll just wait out in the hallway till class is done or till I am allowed back in.” I tell her. “Ok sounds good and the baby kicking is so exciting. I’ve got one more class but I will see you in class tomorrow.” She says and Lizzie and I gather our things and head to the truck and I open the door for her as I usually do.
