"See ya, Julie." Reese says hugging Julie in bed. They exchange smiles, looking at each other in the eyes. He turns to Brooke, mutually waving to each other as he exits. Meanwhile, Mr. Borne enters the room, patting Reese on the back as he leaves.

"Julie, sweetie. I think you should get some rest."

Julie nods and closes her eyes. Mr. Borne heads out of the room, but stops as Julie calls him. "Dad, do I have to go to school tomorrow?"

"Of course not!" he says laughing. "The doctors say you'll be ready to leave by the day after tomorrow."

"Great." she groans. Mr. Borne smiles at her.

"I'll be back first thing in the morning. I love you." he says blowing a kiss to her.

Julie smiles and tilts her head on the bed. She shuts her eyes and listens as nurses enter the room and slide the thin curtains around the sides, separating Brooke and Julie. She slowly opens her eyes and sees the shadows of the few nurses passing around Brooke's bed, grabbing objects and walking out of the room. As the nurses dim the light, the window allows a pale light to lean into the room and through the curtains. Julie closes her eyes again and moves her covers around until she is comfortable.

The night seems endless, as Julie moves her head in a state of dreaming. It's at least past three in the morning. Everything is so still in the room. In the corner where the window is, a shadow manifests itself inside the room. It creeps from the window and towards Brooke's bed. Through the curtains, a silhouette of a man stands before Brooke's bed. It drifts towards the sleeping Brooke before pulling out a hunting knife from his sleeve.

Meanwhile, Julie continues to twist in her bed, dreaming of something wretched. Inside her mind are these flashing images of the mask approaching her, screaming the same way her mother screamed during labor. Julie opens her eyes rapidly, summoning a pounding head ache. Everything is so blurry in the room, but she still makes out the shadow figure standing over Brooke. It slowly steps back towards the window before vanishing through it. Her eyes are being pinched by needles as she struggles to keep them open. What did she just see? Probably her imagination. Shit, she's already seen Dana standing in the middle of the road, so it might as well be. Keeping this mentality, she closes her eyes and sets her head down on the pillow before completely passing out.

With bloodshot eyes, Julie pops out of her sleep, panting and covered in sweat. She looks around and sees the blue around her. It must be dawn, since everything is still quiet and a bit visible. The dim light from the window shines in the room and through the curtain. Focusing more on the curtain, Julie notices a dark streak on the curtain. Following the path with her eyes, she begins to shake. Sprayed on the curtain are these dark spots, frightening Julie.

"Brooke?" she calls out with a whisper. No answer.

She kicks the covers off of her and stumbles out of her bed, now on the ground on her knees. She crawls towards the curtain, still shaking. With a frightened stare, she studies the stains on the curtain before feeling a cold liquid drowning her bare feet. She looks down and widens her eyes at the sight of the pool of blood oozing from under the curtain. Heavy breathing attaches to her fear as she crawls backwards and leans on her bed, pulling at her hair. Tears pour from her eyes as she shakes her head in disbelief.

Not Brooke. God, not Brooke.

"Nurse!" she yells. "Nurse help me!"

A light goes off in the outside office as footsteps approach the door. A nurse in a pink uniform opens the door and clicks on the light. Before walking to Julie, she gives out a yelp of fear at the atrocious sight before her. Blood paints over the white walls with bloody handprints accompanying them. Julie holds her ears as the nurse sprints out of the room, still screaming. She crawls over to the side of the curtain and holds her mouth in fear. Brooke's body had been brutally deformed and twisted around, dipped in her own blood. She looks at the wall beside her bed and screams as she reads the bloody and cryptic message written on it. The window creeks open slowly. In red, the message reads:

"JULIE MUST DIE."
