I Dare You To...

Makaylah POV

"So, Aaron, I dare you to kiss me." Averie said. Everyone looked at him, including Makaylah. He examined everyone's faces, and she hoped he could see the hurt and sadness on her face. For some reason when Makaylah heard the words come out of Averie's mouth, her heart cracked. But instead of getting up to kiss Averie, Aaron pulled off his shirt, which made Averie stare. She acted like she had never seen Aaron go swimming. Oh that's right she hasn't, because she was never invited. Burn. 

"Then, ummm, Alex! Truth or dare?" Aaron asked nervously. They went on like this for around five minutes, until it was Jack's turn.

 "Makaylah, truth or dare?" Jack asked, his eyes had a strange glint to it.

"Dare." Makaylah said.  The past few people had only said truth, so she did dare. But she didn't notice that Aaron, Alex, Connor, and Tyler were all shaking there heads furiously. 

"I dare you to French kiss me." Jack said, obvious glee in his voice.

Aaron POV

He saw Makaylah shift, and he thought she was going to kiss Jack, making him want to tackle Jack. He glanced at Connor, Alex, and Tyler, to see that they were all quite angry at Jack. Connor was cracking his knuckles, Alex was beating his fist against his hand, and Tyler was giving Jack a glare that could wither flowers. Aaron then realized that Tyler was also like a brother to Makaylah. Not as close as Alex or Connor though. Even though Tyler was older than Makaylah, he was like the protective younger brother, always making her laugh. Aaron changed his focus back to Makaylah, to see instead of her kissing Jack, she had taken off her sweatshirt, leaving her in a cute red top. She looked very pretty. After a few more turns, it was Tyler's turn. But what he said might have caused the horrifying nature of a friend that had known for five years.

"Aaron, Truth or dare?" Tyler asked. He had a shine to his eyes, the one he usually gets when he's about to dunk everyone in slime.

"Dare." Aaron said, too confident about it.

Tyler rubbed his hands together and said "I dare you to... sit in Makaylah lap for the rest of the game."

That caused a lot of reaction from everyone. Aaron and Makaylah both turned bright red, and Aaron didn't even know that was possible, because the only time Makaylah had blushed, her nose only turned a faint pink. Jack and Averie were glaring daggers at Tyler. And Alex and Connor were both give Tyler an epic (bombastic) side eye. But he could see a hint of a smile on both Alex and Connors face.
