Aaron POV
Aaron watched as Matthew and Manya chased each other around the yard. Makaylah was inside, baking some cookies for the kids.
"Tag!" Screamed Matthew, than ran around the corner of a tree. Manya chased after him. Aaron smiled, wondering how his kids had so much energy. He heard a shriek of delight, and he figured that Manya had tagged Matthew. But oh how wrong he was.
When Manya and Matthew came around the corner, laughing, with a new person, Aaron scrambled back in surprise. His mouth dropped open as his eyes focused on a man with ginger hair and white skin. Jack stood with Manya and Matthew, a sheepish grin on his face.
"Hey." Jack said.
Aaron just stood there, lost for words.
"I came here to apologize. I was a big jerk. Actually, I was way more than that. Please tell Makaylah that I am so sorry, and maybe the three of us could meet up sometime?"
Aaron snapped out of his daze and stared at Jack. "How about the cafe around the corner, at three o'clock, this Saturday?" Aaron asked.
Jack grinned a genuine smile "See you guys there." He said
Ok! I'm officially not writing in this story anymore. But I put some thought into it, and I thought that Jack deserved a happy ending, too. Also here are some fillers about the story
