Aaron POV
Aaron turned a corner and almost bumped into Makaylah. A look of confusion crossed his face. Makaylah grabbed his hand, a look of desperation in her eyes.
"I need to tell you something." She said. Her eyes stared into Aaron's, keeping him frozen. "So my...something was supposed to happen a few days ago."
Aaron turned pink, realizing she was referring to her period.
"And you know how we did that... four days ago?" She continued. "Well, just to make sure, I took a test, and, seeing as I'm telling you this, I think you can guess the rest."
Aaron's eyes widened in surprise. He started to put the pieces together. His mouth dropped open, and he looked at Makaylah, just to make sure this wasn't a joke. But all he saw were pleading eyes, hoping that he would be with her through this.
"Do you mean..." He said. He clasped Makaylah's hands in his. "You're ...pregnant?"
"Yes." Makaylah whispered, not meeting his eyes.
"I'm gonna be a dad!" He cried, picking Makaylah up and twirling her around.
Makaylah giggled. "You mean your not angry?" She said.
"Of course not!" Aaron said, setting Makaylah down. "We're gonna raise them, and maybe have another."
"Oh stop it." Makaylah said, playfully hitting his arm.
They both laughed and walked together towards the living room.
Four months later..
Makaylah POV
"Your sure it goes like this?" Makaylah asked
"Yes, I'm sure." Aaron said.
Makaylah wiped sweat of her brow and hammered the piece in. Makaylah had insisted on helping build the nursery. Even though they didn't know the baby's gender yet, they still wanted to make the nursery. And they weren't gonna make it pink or blue. They had already painted the wall a sea green, and were planning to paint some fish on it. Right now, they were building the crib.
After half a hour of working, the crib was finished. Makaylah was laying on her back, and Aaron was leaning against the wall.
"High five." Aaron said, holding out his hand. Makaylah tapped it in return
Three weeks later...
Makaylah POV
Makaylah and Aaron were sitting in the living room. Makaylah's head was leaning on Aaron's shoulder. Aaron rubbed her hand, tracing a circle pattern.
"I've been thinking..." Makaylah said. "About baby names."
"So have I." Said Aaron, gently kissing the top of Makaylah's head.
"Which were you thinking about?" Makaylah asked.
"Boy" Aaron said.
"Well that's perfect." Whispered Makaylah. "I was thinking about a girls name."
"What were you thinking?" Aaron asked.
I was thinking...Manya." Makaylah said. "It means Star of the Sea."
"I think that's perfect." Aaron said, moving his free arm around Makaylah. "I was thinking Matthew. It mean Gift of God."
Makaylah looked down and patted her stomach. "Well, I guess we have a little Manya and Matthew in here." She said.
Awwww! That was cute! Little Manya and Matthew are gonna be so adorable.
