Levi's words make me look up, and it's as if I can suddenly see clearly. The look in his eyes isn't anger. It isn't frustration, and it isn't irritation. It's lust. Pure, raw, all-consuming lust. The realization makes my heart skip a beat, and I blush.

His lips are on mine in an instant, my back pressed against the door. My hands fumble with his belt until it finally opens and allows me to pull his pants down.

I lift one leg and Levi holds it up, balancing me on the other leg. He's inside of me, his other hand on my mouth as I moan. He kisses me on the lips, the neck, along the collar of my shirt. He's driving me insane with his tongue while his hip thrusts against me, pounding deeper inside of me with every movement.

I feel my back hit the door softly, repeatedly, and I wonder for a second if people would hear if they passed by. Then I remember that Levi's room is the last door in the hallway, so whoever would come this close to the door would have to have the intention of actually entering. But the second passes, and I realize that I don't care.

He's everywhere. He's inside of me, against me, his hands running all over my body, pulling my shirt up until he's grabbing my breast, digging his fingers in until I moan. His other hand is still holding onto my thigh, allowing him better access between my legs.

My eyes roll back into my head when I cum, holding onto his shoulders in a desperate attempt not to sink to my knees. I can feel him panting against my skin, droplets of sweat running down my neck. Captain Levi doesn't stop even after I came. He continues mercilessly, gloriously, maddeningly.

I can't hold back any longer and a loud moan escapes my lips when the overstimulation pushes me over the edge. Levi bites my lower lip, then sticks his tongue into my mouth to silence me. He tastes sweet, so sweet, like honey or syrup. He tastes like everything I ever wanted and needed.

When we finish, I sink down to the floor, the cold stone a welcome feeling against my aching backside. The captain smiles down at me while he zips his pants and buckles his belt. He bends down to press a kiss to the top of my head, and I tilt my head up to kiss him on the lips.

"Let's go, love," he says. "And watch your mouth."

I laugh and take his hand so he can pull me to my feet. When I have my back turned to him, ready to walk out the door, Levi kisses the free spot of my neck where my hair is braided to the other side. A cold shiver runs down my spine, and my cheeks flush. I have to keep control over my face so I don't smile when I step outside into the hallway.

I go out first, and only by the time I reach the top of the stairs do I hear Levi close his door behind him. No matter how much I want to, I don't look back and don't stop to wait for him. I keep walking until I exit the castle and come into view for my friends.

Jean is the first by my side, closely followed by Eren and Historia. They walk the little way to the stables with me, plastering me with questions. "What on earth did you say to him?" Jean asks. "I've never seen Captain Levi like this," Eren says. "What happened in there?" Historia wants to know. I stay silent, keep my head down, and keep walking. I might be able to lie to the others, but Jean would know. He knows when I'm lying, and he  knows when something is up. He just knows. So I say nothing.

By midday, Gunther, Petra, Oruo, and Eld join in on our training. They partner up with us, wanting to see how good we got before we go out there again with Erwin soon. I haven't seen much of the commander yet, but he's less unsettling to me than Levi, if not equally intimidating.

Gunther is paired up with Jean and Armin, Oruo with Eren and Connie, and Eld with Historia and Mikasa. Petra takes over Sasha and me. Hange is inside with Levi, because they apparently have something to discuss. I think it's better this way. Maybe I'll at least be able to concentrate now.

Petra gives us tips on how to better defend ourselves, how to handle knives, and how to handle an opponent bigger than you. I find out that I stand a better chance against her than against Levi, and it makes me wonder if that's because Levi is especially merciless on me. I wonder if Petra just takes it easier.

After training, when it's already getting dark, my shirt is soaked with sweat and Petra's blood from when I hit her on the nose. The others let me go upstairs first to wash up and get clean, and I kiss Jean on the cheek as a thanks you when he motions for me to pass him.

I scrub myself, lather my body with soap, rinse, repeat, until I feel thoroughly clean. It's gotten dark outside by the time I wipe the mirror so I can see my reflection. Still naked, I rub my hair with a towel and braid it across my shoulder, then get dressed in clean clothes.

When I step out, I find Mikasa waiting in front of the bathroom door. She's sitting on the floor, her back and head leaning against the wall while she absent-mindedly flips a knife in her hand that hangs between her knees. She looks up at me when she notices me, gives me a tiny smile, and gets to her feet. I smile back, step out of the way, and head into my room to dispose of my dirty clothes.

Some of us gather around the fire after dinner, sitting on the damp tree trunk and breathing in the air. It always smells so clean and fresh after a rainfall. I look into the darkness to where I would see the forest if it were still day. The forest in which Levi and I first kissed. I smile.

I'm so sunken in the memories of the forest, of the kitchen, and of his bedroom that I only notice the captain when he's already sitting next to me. I look at the blanket beneath us, the small sliver of fabric he's pressed himself on, and slide over so he has more space. But Levi slides right with me, his hip still connected to mine, and I look at him. He's staring into the fire, but he must know that I'm looking at him because he breathes out a smile, and I can see the corner of his lips twitch up.

"You seem awfully happy." Hange's comment makes both me and Levi look up at her at the same time, and a flicker of a frown crosses her face before her eyes light up.

I blush, mumble something under my breath, and slide farther away from the captain until I'm almost not on the blanket anymore and there are two hand widths between us. He doesn't say anything.
