Chapter 16; Cancelled and Un-cancelled

Because of the cancellation, I went back to Finland and played for Jokerit. It's a great team! At home, I would watch the news to see if anything passes along with the NHL.

After 5 months, I heard on the Hockey News that the NHL was back on. We only got 43 games each team but that's alright.

I couldn't wait until it all started!

Then on the day of the first game, I got dressed to leave for our home game and went to it. We ended up facing Winnipeg which was weird! We lost 4-0. I didnt like that!

Then Vancouver, Washington & New York Rangers. We lost those too and only got 4 goals in four games. Against Vancouver, we lost 1-0 in overtime. Against Washington, we lost 7-2 and I got both goals. Against the Rangers, we lost 3-2 in overtime. I got 2 assists. Marian Gaborik got 3 goals on us!

Next came Chicago... We won 8-0. I got 2 goals and 4 assists. I got 2 penalties during this game by the way. My first penalty since before Winnipeg. One penalty was fighting Patrick Kane. The other was Tripping. I got 7 PIMS!

The next 7 games were great. We won 2 and OT loss 5. That's 9 points. The wins were against Tampa Bay and Buffalo. We OT lost to Florida, Toronto twice, Winnipeg, Ottawa and New Jersey. I got 6 goals and 12 assists.

So far, I have 28 points in 12 games!

The next few games, were terrible for me but not Montreal.

We won 4-2, I got a game misconduct for hitting from behind. We won 5-1, I got suspended 4 games for something I did.

The next 4 games, I stayed home and watched our games.

In a matter of 6 games, I missed 4, got no points and 6 PIMs.

Then I came back, and we lost 9-7 against Tampa Bay. I got 1 goal! Only 1 point!

Then next game, against the last place team in the NHL, Florida with 6 points, we lost 7-1. I got an assist!

The next 7 games, we lost all except 2. 2 wins, 4 loses & 1 OT Lost

1: 4 Montreal at Minnesota 6

I scored twice

2: 2 Montreal at Boston 5

I got an assist

3: 1 Edmonton at Montreal 6

4: 1 Buffalo at Montreal 0

5: 2 Montreal at Ottawa 3 OT

6: 1 Montreal at Ottawa 3

I scored

7: 2 Ottawa at Montreal 7

I got 3 assists & 2 goals
