Chapter 8; Playoffs Round 1

Well after that... weird day, we got a new GM. His name is GM John Y. Draviss

He's great. So was the another one!

He called me to his office while Kane was in court dealing with what happened.

He slowly and nicely said "Sorry but I have to release you to free agency"

"But i'm a great player"

"I know that but we need cap and you are the first to come to my mind to delete"

"I... fine" I said angrily but i tried to hide it!

"Sorry. I will send out emails about your release to all teams and i'll make a extra note to Calgary, Florida and Rangers!

Those are my 3 favorite teams! I loved Calgary the most. Then Florida and last Rangers!

Calgary was awesome because of everyone being so nice! Mike is there now so i think i should retire with Calgary!

I decided to watch the playoffs. First, i watched Tampa's game! They faced Boston because...

Tampa ended up winning 4-0 and my good bud Stamkos got 2 goals.

I got to go to my children though after we didn't make the playoffs! I told them about my free agency release and my kids thought I was joking.

Andrew texted me and said "Hey, I got worded that 8 teams are interested in you including Phoenix & 2 Canadian teams."

I knew I was going to be signed! I told my wife and she started to pack! We are moving to either...

Who to pick? Not Washington and not Islanders! Too low!

I got until free agency time starts so I hope I can get my mind made up by then!

Whatever! I'll think about it! I asked my wife and kids... The kids said Montreal, Anaheim and St. Louis. My wife said Edmonton. I think all of those deals are good. My friend said Phoenix. My other friend said Washington. He loves them so he picked them but a 2 way contract is not acceptable for me!

Anyways, I watched all eastern conference games until it was all over in the first round!

Tampa Bay is leading the series 1-0 to Carolina

Dallas is leading the series 1-0 to Anaheim
