Chapter 4; Without Jokinen

I can't believe we are letting Jokinen down! Well I left Kane in there with Jokinen so I hope Kane is going to cheer Jokinen up or something. Well tomorrow is the next game! I shall get some sleep!

Next day,

We have played 26 games and most are without Olli! He's a good addition to the team! I'm leaving for the game now so Kane better be there! He didn't come yesterday...

I get to the arena and Evander is chopping down a burger! What a funny guy?

During our game, Evander Kane scored for Jokinen because he knew Jokinen was watching! We ended up beating Rangers 8-3 with Evander getting 3 goals & 2 assists! He leads in goals, assists and points for Winnipeg!

Rick Nash got only one shot and almost injured Pavelec so I stopped him before he could. He was mad! I'M FINED!

Then Gaborik got mad and I beat him in a hockey fight! He tried to get a cheap shot after but I reversed it into a skate to the bare skin of the ankle! He was hurt! But he still played!

I only got 1 goal & 2 assists which is actually really good but compared to Evander's... It's still... Good! Wow!... Why didn't I notice this!

My goal was called off at first but changed to a goal after a look at the monitor! New York Rangers has a record of 14-10-3

We have a record of 12-12-3! Winnipeg NEEDS to improve! I think it's just the lost of Jokinen that makes this hard because he's our leader and he is the best on our team! Plus he cheers us up when we're losing!

Evander Kane got injured with 2 minutes left in the 3rd! Marian Gaborik & him had a fight! Gaborik won and injured the poor little guy! I hope he's ok!

Well after the game, coach said that if the lost of Jokinen & Evander, my line is Brian Little on Wing and Nik Antropov on Center!

I was ok with that line, I just wanted Jokinen & Kane more!

Apparently Evander is only gone for a week or so!

Then Chris Thorburn screamed and said "YA TRADING ME?" and Coach said "Sorry but I DON'T want you anymore and it's just we get a 3rd Round Pick & a... ROOKIE!". I felt bad for Thorburn. He was going to Vancouver.

I visited Jokinen and I told him about Evander. He freaked out even though he knew it was only for a week or so! But I guess he can be worried because Kane is his buddy! He's only been here for less than half a year but he's already my, Kane's & the team's friend. He's a great guy and a great player. He's... Winnipeg's Captain! He's Olli Jokinen! He's...

My teammate! I calmed him down on Kane and gave him a gift... The C for Captain! I told him that he was the captain and he's a great one!

Then I left and didnt do much until the next game

We won 4-2 and I got 2 goals! Pavelec got 34 saves because we struggled to hang on but we won 4-2 to... DETROIT! We beat them! We beat them! They injure Nik Antropov & I injured Datsyuk... Thing is I got hurt after we collided but I wasn't injured! Pavel... Sorry but it just... Well happened!

After 2 weeks, we had 10 games.

We won the first, third, fifth, sixth, seventh & tenth

The first game, we won 4-0 against Florida Panthers

I got 1 goal & an assist

The second, we OT loss to Buffalo, 3-2

I assisted both goals

The third, we won 6-2 against Toronto

Evander Kane came back in this game

At Montreal: Fourth game, we lost 4-2

Evander scored both goals!

In the fifth game, won 5-2 to San Jose

Sixth, won 3-2 in OT to Tampa Bay

Seventh, won 2-1 in SO to Tampa Bay

In the eighth, my team lost 7-4 to Anaheim

In the ninth, Winnipeg lost 6-3 to Carolina

In the tenth, we won 9-6 against Dallas

Your record: 19-15-4

I guess it's pretty good! We're in 8th with 42 points! Sadly, we are not in the top 3 because Tampa is first with 60 points.

I visited Olli Jokinen at his home! He is coming back soon! 1 game left until he's back. I can not wait! I watched the game with him because he was sick so we watched Winnipeg at Boston. I obviously didn't play. Winnipeg won 5-2 and Evander got a hat-trick! Olli said "He is really good!" and I agreed. Well I left and knew he was coming with me tomorrow in our home game against... Florida!
