As I look at my new team this year... I think it's pretty good! Last year, I was on the Calgary Flames! I hope we make the playoffs!

When I look at my contract with the Jets... I have a 2M, 1 year contract. I'm the assistant captain and number 21! I'm on the first line with Andrew Laddon RW and Evander Kane on LW!

In our pre-Season games, we won 2/4 of them.

First one: Winnipeg at Edmonton

I scored the first goal assisted by Ladd & Kane

I assisted the second on a deflected shot after my slapshot

I assisted the fifth on Ladd's goal

My team won 6-3

Next two games:My team lost both with a 3-2 loss and a 7-4 loss I only got 2 goals & 4 assists

Next game: New York Rangers at Winnipeg Jets

Both me, Evander Kane & Brad Richards got 4 points

I got 2 goals & 2 assists

Kane got 1 goal & 3 assists

Brad got 4 assists

My team ended up winning 7-6 in OT

I ended the PRE-SEASON with 13 points. I was first on Winnipeg and third in the NHL behind Malkin & Stamkos with both having 14. 14 points in 4 PRE-season games is BIG!

Then came... That night! On the day before the regular season started, Calgary proposed a trade of me, a 2013 3rd Round Pick and Blake Wheeler for a 1st round Pick(2014), Curtis Glencross & David Moss. Me along with Winnipeg Jets declined and stated " Sorry, but that doesn't fit Olli Jokinen! David Moss & Glencross for Jokinen is maybe ok. But a good trade would be Matt Stajan, a 2013 2nd round pick & Alex Tanguay for Olli Jokinen & maybe Nik Antropov. Wanna trade?". Calgary said "No! Alex Tanguay is too good!".

For the whole day, teams tried to make deals with Canadian Teams! Some CAN to CAN though!

126 trades were tried to be made! 49 to Winnipeg! 3 from Jets! 32 trades offered to Winnipeg included me!

3 trades occurred!

Top trade:

Calgary's Jarome Iginla for Boston's Nathan Horton, a 2014 2nd round pick & Shawn Thornton

Then came... THE SEASON!
