You'd mustered all the strength you had left to make it outside. You had Riko's body tenderly slumped over your shoulder. You collapsed onto your knees outside of the shrine, tears crashing into the sandy gravel beneath you.
Your eyes dart about the area, it was completely destroyed. Gojo had obviously used his Limitless in battle with Toji. The fact the assassin had made it into Tengens layer scared you to your core. Was Satoru dead?

You retched, vomit landing to the side of you. No way, Gojo was alive. He had to be. You couldn't live without him.
You used your sleeve to clear your eyes of the tears, you needed to focus. You had to call for help.
Bringing your fingers to your lips you took a sharp inhale and let out the loudest whistle you could muster.

Within minutes the tree leaves started to bustle angrily, it was a tell tale sign of dragons. A rumbling groan echoed throughout the woods as Catos eventually grounded himself. "Catos you wonderful boy" your hoarse voice managed to croak. Hoisting yourself up you grabbed Riko and dragged her as quickly as you could towards him.
He shook the nape of his neck, letting out a snarl as his senses started to pick up Amanai's unfamiliar scent. "No no, it's ok boy. She's.. she's ok. She won't hurt you" the tears slid down your face as you lifted Riko's lifeless body onto this back.

"Wow

"Wow. I've never seen a dragon in the flesh, I always wondered about the Tatsuya's infernal drakes. I have to admit I'm kinda impressed"
The sickly deep voice sent goosebumps rippling down your spine. Beads of sweat started to slowly make their way down your forehead as you turned to face the man. This is not good. What happened to Geto?

~ Gojo's present ~

Satoru's eyelids flicker open, his vision extremely hazy. He holds out his hand in front of him, the outlines of it blurred as it slowly comes into focus.
Eventually coming to his senses he leans himself up and gets to his feet. Gazing down he realises the damage that Toji actually did, the crimson red blood pooled around his feet. It was only in that moment of death that he'd finally understood how to use his reversed curse technique.

Gojo was alive.

In the distance he could hear a familiar earth rattling grumble, that was a dragon and the only dragons he knew of were yours. For the first time in a long time Satoru felt genuine adrenaline, if you'd called one of your dragons something was wrong. You were in trouble and nothing frightened him more than that.

~ Your present ~

"You've done what you needed to Zenin, leave!" You weren't going to let this guy intimidate you. You were a Tatsuya, a house infamous for their abilities and strength, no way would you allow him to get Riko's remains.
Toji frowned as you smeared him with the Zenin name. "Y'know I might of let you go, but as you think I'm a Zenin.. I guess I'll prove to you how very wrong you are". Toji spread his legs into an offensive stance, lifting his arm up to his cursed worm and pulling out a weapon. You cracked your knuckles and assumed a similar position. You faced your palms to the ground, feeling your cursed energy surge you started to draw the iron from the earth beneath you. It burst from the soil in tiny fragments, you manipulated it into the air to shape into sharp metallic rods that fired in Toji's direction.

He lept from the ground with such speed that to your eyes he became invisible. He had no cursed energy so you could get a read on his location. You aggressively wiped away the ivory hair that was now sticking to the sweat banded across your head. You needed to get Riko out of here at the very least. You had no idea where Gojo or Geto were, it was just you and the sorcerer assassin wherever he'd managed to hide.

"Catos take her back to Jujutsu High" you ordered him. He tilted his head expectently, it wasn't often that you commanded your dragons to do something that meant leaving you in danger. He moved towards you but you backed away. "No boy. Just you.."
You stared at his entrancing emerald orbs, so full of intelligence and understanding. You nodded at him reassuringly.
He let out a deafening roar before spreading his wings and lifting off the ground. Take off was always slow as it took time to build pressure under his huge wings but you felt mild relief as he began to pick up some speed.

"A life time experience to see a dragon, but even more impressive to take one down". Once again time ground to a halt. You span in slow motion towards the voice. Toji had pulled out a giant spear, the tip of it piercing sharp and shrouded in illuminous blue cursed energy - this was no ordinary spear, this was a special grade cursed object. He pulled his bicep back preparing his arm to launch it.

Gojo arrived at the scene and his eyes placed you. Comfort washed over him as his brain processes that your safe. He turned to the dark haired enemy in front of him.. he was throwing a special grade cursed object..

The spear left Toji's grasp, soaring so quickly through the atmosphere that it wasn't possible to locate it.

A sudden ear piercing screech exuded from the clouds. Huge streams of blood hurtled from the sky and splattered onto the ground around them. Catos' body plunging to the ground.

Numbness. All you felt was numbness.
