Within seconds Catos' body erupted through the cloudline, blood spurting from the weapon wound he had in his neck. His wings motionless.
Gojo couldn't tear his gaze away from you, his soul could feel your heart breaking and his heart broke for you.
You didn't even have time to brace yourself before his body smashed into the rocky ground in front of you. The dust settled just enough for you to be haunted by his beautiful yet empty emerald iris'. One last hiss of air escaped his jaw as his eyes rolled back into his skull.
Gojo managed to pull himself away from watching you, turning his attention to the man that had just murdered him and more importantly caused you immense amounts of anguish. Toji bared his teeth in a smug grin at his triumph. He could see you out of the corner of his eye kneeling on the ground making no effort to try and evade or attack him. "This'll be easy" he growled.
"Now I know you don't think your going anywhere near her.. right?" Gojo laughed maniacally. The raven haired assassin's reflexes were on point as he reacted to the sound instantly. "Heh. I thought I got you good and proper. I guess I let my guard down"
The familiar tone snapped you out of your trance. There he was, your protector.
As fast as lightening he appeared in front of you, shielding your body with his. He angled his head down towards you, those intoxicating cerulean eyes meeting your crimson ones. "I got you.. baby"
A demonic grin possessed his face whilst he proceeded to explain to Toji exactly how he was now standing in front of him. "You see" he continued to hysterically laugh. "I never realised until now! This is reversed cursed technique!" Toji frowned whilst listening to the tall snowy haired male. He summoned a dagger from his disgusting purple worm curse, swinging it around by the chain that was attached to its end.
You watched them fight through blurred eyes with one hand gripping onto one of Catos' spines, you were determined not to believe he was gone. "Hollow Technique" Gojo uttered. "Purple"

You stood stoically on the hilltop looking down at the sorcerers gathering below. Everyone was dressed respectfully in black to mourn the losses of multiple loved ones. A petite hand grabbed yours and squeezed it tightly. You give a half hearted smile at Shoko, you knew she was trying her best to support you but the sheer amount of death clouding you felt overwhelming. It had been a few weeks since the attack. Gojo had managed to terminate Toji with his Hollow Purple. Geto was found alive but barely, he'd received some deep chest wounds.
The day was as bleak as the mood. Dark grey clouds filled the horizon threatening to rain at any moment with an ice cold breeze at its side. Catos' lifeless body rested at the bottom of the slope. The way he was positioned almost looked as if he was sleeping which gave you a small amount of comfort. Next to him was Riko's casket, it was only fitting that they be sent off together. The last person to join them was an utter shock to everyone in your high school family. Yu Haibara had been mercilessly taken down whilst completing a mission. His death hit hardest of them all.
Geto hadn't been the same since that fateful day, and Haibara's passing had solidified his change in demeanor.
"Have you seen Suguru?" You asked Shoko. She shook her head in response. "Are you going to be ok doing this?" She questioned as gently as possible. "Honestly no. But I have to" Yaga had asked you to cremate their remains using dragon fire, it was was one of the most concrete ways to ensure a body wasn't exumed and possessed after death.
Your class mates surrounded the fallen and bowed their heads in respect. Yaga imparted a few words of comfort before giving you the nod. It was time.
You glided down the hill with Shoko beside you. The ground rumbled beneath you as Cyrax followed behind obediently. You took one last scan around for Suguru but there was no sign of him. How could he not say goodbye to his best friend?
You closed your lids momentarily, savouring the moment knowing that all three of them were still in your presence. Suddenly your empty left hand was laced with another. The hand was radiating with warmth, fingers gripping tightly. The grasp spoke a thousand words.
You leaned your head to the side, ivory strands falling onto his shoulder. Taking a deep inhale, the calming scent of him made you feel comfort for the first time in weeks.
"I got you baby. Always" Satoru whispered.
"Cyrax. Now."
