Gojo sat slumped on the wooden bench located just inside the school yard. His broad shoulders spreading his arms wide across the tables surface, head rested back looking up at the crystal clear sky above.
It was the perfect day, not a cloud in the sky. "Where is she" he murmered to himself, hoisting his torso into a sitting position and taking a quick look at his watch. He didn't have much time before he needed to get back to the new first years, and boy.. they were a handful!

It had been six months since the night Suguru passed and each day got a tiny bit easier. Y/n had been inconsolable for weeks after, a shadow of your former self. It was only in the recent months that you'd started to get that spark back, all thanks to Itadori, Nobara and your favourite, Megumi.

You'd been desperately waiting for the day that the orphan boy would start Jujutsu High, Gojo had told you about Fushiguro's son shortly after the incident with the heartless assassin. In fact, Megumi was the main reason Gojo had funding to stay on at school. You'd taken every opportunity to see the young boy over the years and take him under your wing, you had a motherly instinct towards him that just couldn't be controlled.

"Always lazing on the job"

A familiar melodic tone saturated Gojo's mind bringing him back to reality. "Well if someone wasn't LATE" he stated flatly before raising his blindfold at the familiar friend, revealing those twinkling aqua eyes. He grinned and embraced her in a tight hug "Shoko. I need your help"

The pair sat huddled together whispering, occasionally one of them would take a quick scan of their surroundings for potential intruders.
Every few minutes the brunette sorcerer would let out an excited squeal and clap her hands, totally forgetting she was supposed to be keeping quiet.

"Satoru it sounds perfect! You really didn't need my advice for anything!"
Shoko sounded like a proud mother whilst wiping a small tear forming on her lid. His adams apple bobbed from a nervous gulp. "Honestly don't know what's going on with me. Is this what nerves feels like?" He laughed, holding out his hand and displaying it's ever so subtle tremor.

"If you weren't nervous I'd be worried" she smiled at him reassuringly.
"I do still need your help though, do you think you can get her dressed up nice and to the location?"
Shoko brought a finger to her lips in thought before nodding confidently.
"I'll come up with something.. leave it to me"

"Sure.. a dinner with the girls tonight sounds great. It's been so long since we all caught up"
You casually folded laundry whilst Shoko sipped at her coffee on your couch. "I'll have to let Satoru know, um what time are we going to meet?"

Your friend gave you a side eyed glance. "Err.. in an hour?"
"An hour?!" You dropped the fresh clothes onto the side and looked at Shoko in shock. "I don't know.. I've got to arrange a sitter for Yuna and I still should let Gojo-"
"Y/n leave it to me! There's no way your missing tonight, you never come out any more" Shoko pouted at you which made you chuckle. "Fine.. maybe Maki or Nobara will watch her. Plus it's just you and the girls, I can sling on a casual pair of pants and top, nothing fancy"

Shoko choked on her hot drink. "No!"
You raised an eyebrow at your friend's strange behaviour. "We're all dressing up in our finest tonight. You are no exception"
She wagged her finger at you expectantly. "But your not dressed up?" You pointed out. The brunette began to look stressed at your on point questioning. "Fine whatever.. I'll go get changed" you gave in, not wanting your friend to have a brain aneurysm.
