Chapter 9: Date

The dream this time was different. When An Nuo opened her eyes, she found herself in an amusement park with people everywhere.

She was afraid of the dizziness that came from looking at the ground when she opened her eyes, but also enjoying the feeling of being in the air and the thrill in her heart.

Before Qi Yan could say anything, the ride started. An Nuo nervously grabbed onto the guardrail, but then she felt Qi Yan holding onto her hand. His hand was cold, but it made her calm down.

Qi Yan was very quiet throughout the entire ride, but An Nuo would scream loudly every time the pendulum rose and fell.

After getting off the ride, An Nuo was a bit worried that he might think she was too noisy.

An Nuo was so surprised by the physical contact that she forgot about her concerns. She quickly pulled Qi Yan and said, "By the way, let's go to the haunted house over there." An Nuo's way of changing the topic was clumsy, but Qi Yan just smiled and let her take the lead.

The theme of this haunted house was a hospital. All the doctors and nurses in the mental hospital suddenly died on the same night. They were searching for a human replacement that could bring them back to life.

Due to the small size of the palace, it could only accommodate six people at a time. Coincidentally, there were also two couples with An Nuo and Qi Yan. Due to the order, they were walking at the end of the group. The entire place was very dim. An Nuo and Qi Yan could only stay close to the people in front to avoid getting lost. Fortunately, the people in front of them ruled out most of the scary obstacles.

Like this, they walked through without any danger. Then, the building became very strange. There was a circular staircase, and it felt a bit like an aerial path. There didn't seem to be anything in between, but as An Nuo thought about it, someone suddenly grabbed her foot from below. She screamed out in fear and even grabbed Qi Yan's arm. The staff member was frightened by An Nuo, so they had to withdraw their hands resentfully.

An Nuo took a while to calm down before realising that she seemed to be taking advantage of Qi Yan. She was a bit embarrassed and said in a weak tone, "I'm sorry, I didn't know how to react just now."

Although she couldn't see Qi Yan's expression, she felt that Qi Yan's voice had a happy feeling to it at this moment, and he said, "It's okay." 'That was very cute', but he didn't say it.

Suddenly, one of the guys' voices came from ahead. "Hey, we're going to open the next room. Are you guys coming?"

This time, Qi Yan reached first. He took her hand and carefully led her over.

Today, An Nuo had a great time. They basically went on all the rides. An Nuo looked around and saw that there was a Ferris wheel in the distance. Since they were here, they must go on it.

An Nuo thought for a while, then pointed to the Ferris wheel, "This is the only thing left to try. Do you want to go?"

Qi Yan: "Okay."

The truth could prove that An Nuo should be more logical. The top of the Ferris wheel was the perfect place to ask Qi Yan her questions. Before, they were having fun on the rides. Qiuyi and I have never tried it before since there's a belief about how if two people kiss at the highest point of the Ferris wheel, they will stay together forever. It would be strange for us girls to sit there." Afraid that he wouldn't understand, she added, "Qiuyi is my best female friend."

"Really? It's my first time on it too," Qi Yan replied. Seeing that the Ferris wheel was about to reach the highest point, Qi Yan suddenly pointed. "What is that?"
