A high sea adventure

A warning or a bad situation

It was the afternoon Sirius was now in his new house that was near the ocean he was happy that Regulus understood how much he loved the sea and how much he loved being out there looking for adventure but that wasn't the point he went over to a window and opened it up and he would keep it open so he could talk to Remus much more Remus noticed the window so he went up to the window and he looked in a bit "So this is what a human house looks like?" Sirius would giggle a bit "Basically yeah it is but at least I'm near the ocean so we can talk more Remus" Remus would then smile before going back into the ocean just in case anyone came in but Sirius would sort some stuff out before he heard a knock on the door.

Sirius heard the door so he went over to it to open it up to see Lily there he smiled and let Lily into the house it wasn't a big house it was a house for one person that was it Sirius closed the door when Lily was in the house so he looked at her before speaking "So you heard then?" Lily looked at Sirius "Yeah I did James was so upset when he found out that you moved out and moved into a house that your brother let you have but he was happy that you were finally being your person that's as he put it" Sirius would sigh to the last bit of what Lily said but he nods her head to him Lily would stop looking at Sirius and would take a seat on the couch "How are you doing after what happened Sirius? I noticed the look on your face earlier so I was wondering" Sirius was still standing putting his hand on the back of his neck "I'm a bit better from earlier....still annoyed in some places and hurt other than fine I guess..."

Lily gave a sorry look but Sirius would go over to sit on the couch and he saw Lily's sorry look on her face "You don't need to be sorry for me Lily...I will be fine...I think..." Sirius looks at Lily "But are you okay though Lily? From that whole interaction between James and my little brother?" Lily looked up at Sirius a bit she didn't know what to say to it so she just shrugged she felt so confused by the whole interaction that happened Sirius nodded his head to Lily knowing it would have been hard to reply to that for now.

Remus was looking through the window at what was going on and he saw Sirius talking to Lily he didn't know that she was James' girlfriend and thought that was Sirius' but he didn't want to overthink it so he stayed quiet and said what was going between the two it looked like they were friends maybe to his point of view but he wasn't so sure but he kept on watching what was going on.

Sirius noticed that Remus was watching what was going on it was only for a quick second since he was talking to Lily they were talking for a few hours until James kicked the door down Sirius was annoyed by this "JAMES THERE'S SOMETHING CALLED KNOCKING YOU BLOODY IDIOT" Lily giggled a tiny bit while James just walked into the house "Look mate YOU KICKED DOWN MY DOOR WHEN YOU FIRST MOVED IN SO I'M GETTING MY REVENGE" Sirius just sighed giving up with James right now while Lily looked at James "Why are you even here love?" James smiled a lot he was so excited for sure "People have been saying they have seen a mermaid around so someone from the crew brought a mermaid here!!!!"

Lily was shocked by what James said while Sirius was calm about the situation while Remus was shaking a bit while he was overhearing this whole thing Lily would look at James as she got up from the couch "This can't be true James that a mermaid is here! I love you and all but this is crazy!" Sirius said nothing he was staying calm and quiet James looked at Lily "But it's true though p-" Lily cut James off "They are just seeing things come we should get going now and let Sirius sort out his new house and door" James sighed to Lily a bit "Fine then!" James would leave the house while Lily would sigh a bit she waved goodbye to Sirius before going after James.

Sirius would quickly go over to his door and put it back up quickly he knew how to fix doors since his family kicked down so many doors it was crazy at least he knew how to fix doors then he went over to the window where Remus was and the two looked at each other Remus looked so scared but Sirius noticed the look and wanted to keep him calm "Hey it's okay....just be more careful I don't want anything bad to happen to you...." Remus would look at Sirius "S-S-Sorry...." Sirius knew this wasn't Remus' fault at all "What are you saying sorry for Remus? this isn't your fault this was my idea, okay everything will be okay" Remus slowly nodded his head to Sirius before the two heard a knock on the door.

Remus quickly went down from the window before Sirius left the window and got his sword and kept it in one of his hands then he went over to the door and slowly opened it up before he saw arrows coming at him so he quickly closed the door "YOU ARE KIDDING ME WHY NOW!?" Sirius sighed and he opened the door slowly this time round to see if there were any arrows but none came and saw the ones on his door and saw a note with it saying "Your choice" Sirius started to tear up and closed the door and he put his sword down to one side and he went down to his door he felt so alone without Remus he wished that Remus could be on land and the ocean at the same time but couldn't figure out how that could happen.

Sirius wasn't thinking right at all and wasn't in the right headspace but he knew what was going through his head so he put the note down and he got up and put his sword back to where he had and he went into the kitchen to a bottle of wine opens up the laid and he went over to the window and Remus could see how bad Sirius looked while Sirius was drinking the bottle of wine while crying but he looked down to Remus and he smiled sadly and he was about to leave the window before Remus came out of the water.

"Sirius, are you normally like this all by yourself? Where you can't talk to anyone because no one can get your pain? Because if that is so I'm here you can talk to me. Okay?" Remus said that while leaning on the window Sirius just broke down after Remus said "I wish...you can human and a mermaid at the same time so I'm not completely by myself and feel like I don't feel like nothing to anyone...because I feel like my own best friend doesn't understand it....but you do I'm happy that I met you, Remus..." Remus smiled a bit but was sad that he couldn't be a mermaid and a human at the same time.

The two were just together in the quiet and talking again only for a tiny bit but Remus was happy that it was only them while Sirius was drinking his worries away and talking to Remus at some point while the two were talking Sirius had got quite drunk and he was telling Remus silly stuff that only he and James knew on their adventures while Remus was laughing and giggling a lot and at times Sirius was flirting a bit with Remus that tiny bit turned into hours going into the early hours in the morning the two didn't care they were just happy to know each other more and more and slowly getting more closer to each other much more.

But at some point in the early hours of the morning, Sirius had passed out on the floor while Remus had fallen asleep at the window and his fin had gone numb so it would be hard for him to move so when he woke up he was in a lot of pain Remus was trying to stay quiet to not wake Sirius up but he was wincing a lot in pain and he was trying to move but when he tried to he would wince in more pain he had started to cry quite a bit he couldn't move the pain was so much for him so he had to lay there and crying quietly in pain.

Some hours went past and it was now the next day Sirius had woke up and would get up since he had fallen asleep on the floor he saw Remus was quietly crying in pain so he went over to him quickly and he would lift his head slightly up not a lot Remus could feel Sirius' touch he had forgotten that he was in pain for that bit of time but he would move his fin again and remembered that he was in pain so he winced more in pain Sirius could tell by Remus in pain so he would look at Remus "Move your fin slowly don't move it fast or anything like that okay calm down and everything will be okay. Alright, Remus?" Remus nodded his head to Sirius and moved his fin slowly and it would take some time until his fin wasn't in pain and numb he had also calmed down as well since the pain wasn't that bad now.

Sirius smiled softly since he was able to help Remus out and he wiped away the tears away from his eyes before he softly spoke to him "Does that normally happen? You know your fin going numb for periods at a time so it's hard to use it so you go into pain?" Remus nodded his head to Sirius Remus wasn't in pain anymore his fin was fine now so he decided to go back into the sea so the same thing wouldn't happen again Sirius walked away from the window and picked up the wine bottles and went out of the house to put them into the trash.

When he was putting the wine bottles in the trash Sirius could hear a lot of people around the ship and he was confused about what was going on so when he put the wine bottles into trash he went back into the house quickly to get his sword just in case then went back out to see what was going on so when he got through the crowd and saw the state of the ship "James isn't going to be happy when he finds out about the state the ship is in.....this is worse than what happened in that storm one time it's why that adventure was cut short James was for sure not happy....but he isn't going to be happy at all...."
