It was the very next day and it was the afternoon now Sirius had slept through most of the morning when he woke up it was the afternoon and noticed that Remus was gone he was probably in the ocean again but he felt a kiss on his cheek so he blushed a bit however he wouldn't think about it that much so he would walk over to the table and see that a letter was on his table thinking someone came in while he slept he thought it was probably James or Lily and that makes a lot of sense to his mind so he would open up the letter and see it was from Lily and while reading the letter he found out that she was the one who came into the house since James was giving a spare key by Regulus but she wants to talk to him at the local bar so he would put the letter down and he would get change before heading out to the local bar it would take awhile for Sirius to get change and out of his house he was somehow able to show up late but doing it in style it has always been like that when it comes to him.

Once Sirius was finally out of his and at the local bar he noticed that Lily wasn't there yet so he took a seat at the table he normally would sit at it was right in the corner sometimes he liked not being in the center of attention but he was a couple of drinks while waiting for Lily to come he knew it was sometimes for Lily to come round the bar because of James but he knew that it would be awhile or so however once Lily came into the local bar Sirius didn't realize it was her Lily couldn't find Sirius so she would go up to the bartender before she could even ask the bartender looked at her "If you're looking for Merlene Lily it's her day off she isn't here" Lily would sweat a bit while smiling "I know Merlene isn't here. I was going to ask if Sirius is here. I am meant to be meeting with him to talk about some stuff." The bartender was still looking at Lily "Yeah Sirius is here he's sitting in the corner it's his normal seating place." Lily would nod her head to the bartender and she would walk over to where Sirius was sitting.

Lily went over to where Sirius was sitting and Sirius did see Lily "Oh hey Lily!" He said that while smiling a bit "Hi Sirius looks like you did read my letter" Lily said as she was sitting down Sirius giggled a bit "Yeah I did after waking up last night was quite a lot for me so I only slept in for most of the morning you know habits never change since I left your and James' house" The two laugh quite a bit before Lily would speak "So did James tell you?" Sirius looked at Lily a bit "Yeah he told me last night after I was sober again but I am guessing he left some details out that I don't know. Right?" Lily slowly nodded her head to Sirius before telling him "When James and King Regulus were making a deal for him to help fix the ship I was able to say so I could have some say in it before I could James said it was amazing and they were already at fixing the ship with the best builders and that so I decided to walk off because I don't know why I was somehow felt like I was a third wheel between the two and I was thinking of your question more...."

Sirius would look at Lily "So what are you thinking now about my question? You know feeling like something else is there between those two ever since their first interaction on that day when we came back?" Lily looked back at Sirius "Yeah it is for sure starting to look like that..." Sirius was just thinking a bit "Have you told anyone else about this other than me?" Lily sighed a bit "Yeah I have told Merlene about this it was her idea for you to know about this since you for sure think there is something there between the two and when I was telling Merlene she thinks so as well." Sirius wasn't sure what else he could say about this but Lily would put one of her hands on Sirius' hand "I know you want to help so much but we both know you still have your demons there...James told me about what happened last night...."

Sirius went back on his chair a bit "Of course, he did that!" he then sighed a bit before sitting upright on his chair again Lily knew that Sirius didn't like James telling Lily about his drinking problems he just hated when he did because he felt like he was a huge problem to them both it was why he wanted to live in his place but now Lily knew about Remus but Lily looked at Sirius a bit "I won't tell anyone about the mermaid....Remus alright? This is the first time I have seen you happy in years you two see something in each other that is so special Sirius I mean that." she then smiled after she said that and Sirius would sigh in relief he was happy to hear that from Lily.

Marlene then came into the local bar aka the place where she worked and went over to Lily and Sirius she certainly had some news to give so she got a chair put it up on the table sat on it then put a newspaper down onto the table Sirius and Lily were both confused about what was going on and why Marlene was here in the bar on her day off.

"Why are you even here Marlene and what's with the newspaper?" Lily said that while looking at Marlene while Sirius nodded his head in agreement with Lily Marlene smiled a bit at the two "Look at the newspaper you two it's crazy really crazy!" The two were still confused while they were reading the newspaper Sirius noticed what Merlene wanted them to see he was in shock he couldn't believe that so many people had seen Remus but he was trying to be cool about it so he leaned backward on his chair before Lily noticed and she pretended like she couldn't believe there was mermaid even though she already knew there was she knew that Sirius didn't want anyone else to know that he knew the mermaid. "The is insane Merlene! A mermaid but why here!?" Lily knew Marlene was going to eat up whatever she said.

Merlene looked at Lily "People are saying it is a mermaid but I am not so sure! Also, people are thinking of blocking up the entrance to the darker bit of the town but I bet you that isn't happening at all!" Sirius looked at Marlene "Yeah because the people who live there will just find a way to unblock it so it doesn't matter at all." Lily would look at Marlene a bit "But are you sure it's a mermaid?" Merlene looked back at Lily "Yeah! People have been seeing the mermaid mostly around James' broken ship that is being fixed right now!" Sirius would then freaked out, even more, he was panicking inside Lily didn't believe that "You should probably go and double check Merlene" Merlene thought about it "You are so right Lily girl okay let me go and check!" she would then get up from the chair and would leave the local bar quickly so she could double check if the mermaid was there.

Lily looked at Sirius "Are you o-" Lily didn't even get to finish off what she was about to say because of Sirius "Nope! Not panicking!" Lily sighed a bit before comforting Sirius "It will be okay Sirius no one knows if it is a mermaid or not and no one knows you were the one who brought the mermaid here" Sirius sighed heavily and dramatically after Lily said that "It's just going to hit the fan I tell you, Lily! I'm dead meat!" Lily raised an eyebrow at Sirius "Aren't you already dead meat to some people?" Sirius looked at Lily "Oh right yeah should of word that better oh well." Lily would roll her eyes Sirius would awkwardly laugh Lily was just thinking "Hey Sirius want to have some drinks? Because we both know that we don't want to go over to James and the ship." Sirius smiled a bit "I like your thinking Evans sure let's have some drinks we are in a bar so why not!" Lily would smile and she would go and buy some drinks for the two.

The two would have quite a lot of drinks they were laughing and talking quite a bit they just needed some time away from what was happening and the whole love situation and other things just for a bit but neither of them knew how to properly get through these situations they didn't have a proper solution but they didn't care at this moment at a time that much.
