"Kabir hurry up we're getting late for the engagement" his mother announced. "Coming mama" he replied. "Aisha, bacha Hania ko kaho ke ring ke set rakh lo" Her mother declared. Within all this chaos they left for the venue.
Kabir's POV
Okay I admit I am super tensed and my heart is beating super fast. Okay Kabir this is the moment don't get confused just go with the flow bud.
Iqra's POV
Iqra relax nothing will happen. You just have to slide a ring in his hand and all done. There is nothing to worry about.
Author's POV
Both of them were excited and tensed about what would happen next. Being introverts they were just thinking a thousand times what to do and increasing their heart rate. On the other hand Arhaan and Inayah were on the ninth cloud. Inayah was blushing and thinking of the moment every minute since last night and Arhaan, well he's head over heels for her.
They all reached the venue and Kabir settled on the stage looking extremely handsome. Every single news paper article was discussing about the alliance between Ali's and Arsalan's.
All of them were busy in chit chatting when they saw the bride coming. Kabir was looking directly in her eyes and she was just looking down in embarrassment. Kabir was admiring her in her silver and pink shining lehenga.
"Bhai ap ko har bar kyu btana parhta ha ke itna na ghura karo kisi din dar ke bhag jai gi" Aryaan announced. (Bhai why do we have to tell this to you everytime that don't stare at her this she might get scared and run away from you.) "Whatever" Kabir huffed. "Keh keh lo Jo khna ha Kam to mein hi au ga ap ke Mr Kabir Husnain Ali" Aryaan replied. (Say whatever you want to say, at the end you will need me) Kabir just rolled his eyes and got up from his seat held his hand out for her to hold. She held his and came up the stage. "Looking stunning" Kabir declared. "Thanks, you are also looking handsome" Iqra responded. "Can I ask you something?" Kabir said. "Don't you remember your word, that you don't don't need to ask" Iqra teased. "You are a great listener I suppose" Kabir complimented. "Actually we both are, cause no body talks" Iqra chuckled. Kabir nodded while chuckling and said, "Are you scared of my aura" Why would I be?" Iqra inquired. "Nothing was curious just" He replied. Iqra hummed in response and shifted her gaze towards the audience. After a few minutes Hania and Izza came with the rings and stood Infront of their siblings. Kabir held the ring and was about to slide it in when Arhaan said, "Bhai sit on your knees na" "Arhaan there's no need--" iqra insisted. "Why isn't there a need" Kabir announced. He kneeled to the ground and pulled out the ring and said, "Will you marry me Iqra?" Iqra nodded and Kabir slid the ring in her finger and every one hooted. Iqra also slid the ring in his finger and the crowd hooted again.
