Kabir parked his car in the parking and Arhaan ran out of the car. It was 11:55 and Arhaan was super tensed, as he thought Inayah would be hurt because of him. He entered in the restaurant and glanced everywhere to find Inayah but he was not able to. Then he ran on the roof top and saw a separate corner decorated for a birthday.

He went towards it and saw Inayah all tenses and calling someone again & again on her phone. It looked like she was crying from a long time and she was constantly moving here and there. Arhaan not being able to see her that way rushed towards her.
"Nayah, baby please don't cry" He pledged and held her arms.
"Arhaan, thank God you're here. I was so scared, I thought something happened to you. I thought I lost you Arhaan. I- I didn't knew what to do, you weren't picking up my calls. I was scared Arhaan, please never do this to me ever again. I love you and I would never be able to loose you." She said while crying and hugged him.
"Shhh calm down love. Look I am right in front of you. Nothing happened to me. Shhh now stop crying, I don't like this crying baby" He declared while wiping her tears.
"Hmm let's cut the cake, I hope it's not past 12" She expected.
"I am sorry jaan, I was late. It's already 12:30, I am so sorry. Actually my cousins were here and mom dad forced me to go with them. I am sorry, I tried to be as early as possible" Arhaan explained.
Inayah just distanced herself from him and tried to go.
"Nayah, I am sorry. Beat me, slap me, scold me but please don't give me this silent treatment. It's hurting" Arhaan pleaded.
Inayah chucked dryly and said,
"Don't you think I was hurt when you didn't arrived after two freaking hours. I had arranged a birthday for you and you were chilling with your cousins. You don't know how does it feels when you think that the person you love is in danger. I was there crying out because I thought something happened to you. You know I had arranged 25 freaking gifts with a separate meaning for your birthday and a hand written note with each one of them. I had planned timings that we'll cut the cake on 10:30, gifts on this and a freaking proposal on 12 am. But look Mr Arhaan Husnain Ali you ruined it all. I was planning to propose you on the same place, with the same words, the same type of ring and the same time. I had rehearsed all of this like 10 times before coming and I was super excited. Now do you call your hurt ?more than mine. Weren't you the one saying that "Babe don't ever cry in my absence, because it aches my heart when I can't wipe your tears" , doesn't it aches your heart now. I freaking cried for an hour and you weren't there to wipe my tears and console me. And the cherry on the top, you were the reason, I cried Mr Arhaan Husnain Ali. I love you and ik you do too but it requires efforts. Couldn't you tell your family that you had to meet me or else at least informed me. I was the one waiting for you like crazies and you were enjoying with your cousins. Look I had already told you to not ruin your family time because of me and that's why I chose the last part of your birthday for you to spend with me but I guess you didn't even wanted to spend that
with me" Inayah bursted out.
"Babe I respect you and your efforts alot and please listen to my point of view as well. I was equally excited to spend my time with you. I feel as if I am the worst person in the world and ik I am responsible for it. Can't we just forget this please. It's my first and last mistake, please forgive me. Can't we take a fresh start?" Arhaan asked while holding her arms.
"Don't touch me and I need some alone time. Let me go" Inayah decaled.
"I can't let you go alone at this hour Inayah" Arhaan announced.
"Woah, weren't you the one arriving 2 hours late and I was all alone wasn't I. So why does it concerns you now?" Inayah shouted.
"Nayah please agar tumhe kuch ho gya, mein apne ap ko kabhi maaf nhi kar saku ga" Arhaan declared.
"Arhaan please let me leave or else I would say something You and I would regret forever" Inayah said.
Afterwards Inayah went down and Arhaan sat on his knees and his eyes started shedding tears.
Inayah went and took a cab, she was shedding tears and crying with hiccups and said,
"Arhaan why did you?"
Suddenly the car broke down and the driver said,
"Ma'am it would take about half an hour to fix the car"
Inayah nodded and picked up her phone and saw it was dead.
The time was about 1 am in the morning.
Meanwhile Arhaan had reached home and was silently sitting on the terrace, thinking how to make Inayah forgive him.
He called her to make sure that she has reached home safe, but her number was off. He got tensed as it had been an hour since she left Monal and her house was 10-15 minute drive. So he called Wasif to make sure that she has reached home.
On the call:
Arhaan: Assalamualaikum Wasif Bhai, has Inayah reached home?
Wasif: Walikum asalaam, what do you mean by reached home, she was supposed to come back with you.
Arhaan: Actually we had a little argument, so she said she'll go by herself. I forced her alot to come with me but she didn't even listen.
Wasif: What was the argument about?
Arhaan: I was late for the birthday, so she got kinda mad.
Wasif: How immature of her, ahhh Arhaan when did she leave?
Arhaan: About an hour I guess.
Wasif: WTH! Are you freaking serious? Now what?
Arhaan: Bhai I am going to Monal and then I'll look around the restaurant. Ap ghar par raho and tell me when she comes as her phone is off.
Wasif: Okay.

Arhaan's POV
Inayah if anything happens to you, I'd never be able to forgive myself. Please babe be safe. I really don't wanna lose you because of my silly mistake. I am sorry, I am ready to beg for her forgiveness. Please Nayah please take care and don't do anything in madness. I love you alot.
Author's POV
Wasif opened the main door and saw Inayah coming out of the cab.
"Inayah beta it's freaking 2 am, where were you?" Wasif declared.
"I told you, I would be late" she replied
"This late and I thought you are coming with Arhaan" Wasif inquired.
"He said he has some work" she said and tried to get in but Wasif held her.
"Were you crying and why are you lying to me, Arhaan called and asked for your whereabout's." He responded.
"What did he tell you?" She questioned.
"He said that you both had an argument and you left but he was requesting you to go with him, but your didn't listen" He told.
"Hmm impressive, he told you the truth. Did he tell you the reason of the argument" she asked.
"Yeah because he was late to the birthday party" he said.
"Bhai he arrived after 12, I was waiting since 10. The explanation that he gave was that he arrived late because of his cousins. Bhai I had planned stuff for us to do. But I guess he doesn't care" she elaborated.
"Did you here his point of view" he questioned.
"Bhai me and him had decided the time when he would be free from everything. But still he came after his birthday" she exclaimed.
"Okay okay, discuss this with him tomorrow, now go to your room and tell Arhaan that you reached home, he was worried" he announced.
"I don't wanna talk to him, you can tell him" she blurted.
"Inayah you know his voice was breaking while telling me this and he was tensed for you" Wasif said.
Inayah just went upstairs to her room and started crying out loud and saw 30 mis-calls and sorry texts of Arhaan. She just ignored and slept while crying.
On the call:
Arhaan: Bhai I can't find her, I am sorry, I--
Wasif: Arhaan she's home.
Arhaan: What, really! Can you please give the phone to her. I wanna apologize Bhai.
Wasif: Beta she's asleep now, I just want you to solve your misunderstanding as soon as possible okay?
Arhaan: I'll try Inshallah.
