The three boys just got done arguing over Hether’s the Musical. Percy then crawled over, pulled Apollo to him and silenced his laughter with a tender kiss.
"Please keep being our own personal Care Bear, though." Percy said with a small smile on his face as he nuzzled into Apollo.
"Always" Said Apollo as he held on to both Percy and Luke.
The three sat in silence cuddled up on the couch under blankets and in each other's arms. It was a peaceful day and it was almost bedtime for them. Apollo opened his eyes and saw the two boys asleep in his arms. He gently stood up and tucked them into bed. But because he was a god he had a meeting to attend but he couldn’t leave the two here by themselves he was worried about them having nightmares. He was now being summoned; he was transported out of his palace and was moved into his throne.
Percy and Luke almost immediately started having nightmares first Percy woke up crying then Luke a few minutes after. The two looked at eachother and hugged each other trying to find comfort.
After an hour Apollo walked into his room to find the two boys crying.
“Boys what happened!” Apollo ran up to them trying to give them comfort.
They lunged for his arms and hugged him tightly. Apollo sat down on the bed and held them close.
"I'm so sorry I was summoned for a meeting!" Apollo had both the boys in his arms. He walked over and sat on the mini sofa so they could be a bit more comfortable.
Luke was crying into Apollo's neck while Percy was holding himself while sitting in Apollo's lap.
"Boys, one of you please tell me what happened." Apollo had a calming voice that almost instantly soothed them.
Luke spoke first, "I had a nightmare about Kronos again." Luke sobbed.
"I saw my friend's dying." Percy admitted.
Apollo knew the toll the war had on the boys. He had seen them go through hell and back (literally) but he knew they were tough but even they needed comfort every now and then.
