Percy watched from the sidelines as Apollo and Luke laughed together, their easy camaraderie stinging his heart. They had been spending more and more time together, leaving Percy feeling like the odd one out in their trio.
As they walked ahead, deep in conversation, Percy's mind raced with thoughts of inadequacy. He couldn't help but compare himself to Apollo and Luke – Apollo with his charm and charisma, Luke with his intelligence and wit. What did he bring to the relationship?

"Are you two... are you getting closer?" He blurted out, unable to mask the hurt in his voice.
Apollo and Luke exchanged a glance, realizing the impact their friendship was having on Percy.
"Percy, we love you," Apollo said gently, placing a hand on Percy's shoulder. "But Luke and I have known each other for so long. It's natural for us to have a close bond."
"I know, I know," Percy replied, his voice cracking. "But sometimes I feel like I'm just... here. Like I'm not really a part of this."
Apollo and Luke sat down on either side of Percy, enveloping him in a comforting embrace.
"You're not just 'here,' Percy," Luke said softly. "You're a vital part of this relationship. We both love you deeply."
Tears welled up in Percy's eyes as he felt their warmth and reassurance. "I'm sorry," he whispered, feeling ashamed of his jealousy and insecurity.
"Don't be sorry, Percy," Apollo said, wiping away Percy's tears. "Let's talk about this. Let's work through it together."
And so, under the gentle moonlight, the trio talked and listened, sharing their fears and insecurities, and reaffirming their love for each other. In the end, Percy realized that his jealousy was unfounded, and that Apollo and Luke loved him just as much as he loved them.
