As the evening wore on, Percy found himself alone in a secluded corner of Olympus, lost in thought. It was then that his ex, Annabitch, appeared before him, a look of determination on her face.
"Percy, we need to talk," Annabitch said, her voice tinged with urgency.
Percy raised an eyebrow, wary of her sudden appearance. "What do you want, Annabeth?"
Before he could react, Annabitch grabbed his arm, pulling him closer. "I want you back, Percy. I made a mistake leaving you, and I want another chance."
Percy tried to pull away, but Annabitch's grip was strong. She leaned in, her lips dangerously close to his. But before she could kiss him, Luke appeared out of nowhere, his expression dark and protective.
"Let him go, Annabeth," Luke growled, stepping between them.
Annabitch scowled, releasing Percy's arm. "This is none of your business, Luke. Percy and I have history."
Luke's eyes flashed with anger as he stepped closer to Annabitch. "Not anymore. Percy is with me now, and I won't let you hurt him."
With a frustrated sigh, Annabitch backed away, her eyes darting between Percy and Luke. "Fine. Have it your way. But don't say I didn't warn you, Percy."
As Annabitch disappeared into the crowd, Percy let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. He turned to Luke, gratitude and love shining in his eyes.
"Thank you, Luke. I don't know what I would do without you," Percy said, wrapping his arms around Luke's waist.
Luke hugged him back, his heart swelling with love. "You don't have to thank me, Percy. I'll always protect you, no matter what."
As they walked hand in hand through the halls of Olympus, Percy felt a sense of peace and belonging. With Luke by his side, he knew that together, they could face anything that came their way.
