Duncan came home from the casino, flat broke and depressed, as usual. He had borrowed three hundred dollars from his brother, James, because in his dream the previous night, he was rolling in the money. He never had a stable job and crashed at his brother's house with no desire to move on. He loved his idle life.
He took a beer from the fridge, sat down, and said, "money is the root of all evil."
His brother looked at him and said, "I have worked hard for those roots. You better pay up, Duncan. You may keep the evil."
