Since the three of you couldn't stay too long at the winery and ignore the bigger problem at hand, all of you bid Klee goodbye and promised to visit her someday. With already half of the day gone, you quickly went back to Mondstadt, on your way to the knights of favonius HQ.
"Ugh, I think I drank too much apple cider." You grumbled, rubbing your stomach.
"Paimon drank a lot as well. At this point, you have to carry Paimon for the whole day."
You gave her a blank stare. "Never."
The little fairy let out an angry sound, hands firmly placed on her sides. "Hmph! And I thought the conversation from earlier deepened our friendship."
"It did," you nodded, agreeing, "But as far as I can see, you're still able to fly without problems."
"Paimon," Aether called out to the tiny companion, noticing her weariness, "If you're that tired, you can always get on my back, and I'll give you a piggyback ride."
Paimon's eyes lit up at the offer, and she eagerly fluttered onto Aether's back. "Yay! Piggyback ride!"
You couldn't help but feel a hint of jealousy and longing for a piggyback ride yourself. In a hopeful tone, you asked, "Hey, can I get one too?"
Aether chuckled, but his response was swift. "No."
