I smiled when I saw who it was. "Hello, beautiful." Chibs got off his bike between where I was and the house. "Hi Scotty, what happened at the clubhouse? I heard there was a shooting?" I asked while the dogs greeted Chibs. "Aye, some shitty wetback ran down the fence at the front of the clubhouse and shot with an AK-47," Chibs said, got up and checked on the kids who just woke up. "How are the kids?" he asked. I nodded. "good, they were with me all day." I smiled, looking down. "What about you, Ma? Didn't she look over the kids when you were working?" Chibs asked while we walked over to the house. "She abandoned them yesterday, leaving them alone in the clubhouse, making me mad since she did that before," I told him. "Jesus Christ, now I know why she has been furious with you." Chibs comforted me, knowing how much my family means to me. Right then, a motorcycle arrived. Juice smiled, seeing me and getting greeted by the dogs barking at him. "Boys, knock it off. It's Dad," I growled. "Hello, my beautiful wife, how are you?" he asked, making me smile before leaning in for a kiss. "Hello, my beautiful husband. I'm doing well. I heard about the shooting today. Did you find out if it's the same guy who shot Marcus?" I asked. "Yeah, some friends helped. It was the same guys," Chibs said. "Shit, alright, should I be worried?" I asked them, but both shook their heads. "We will keep you safe." Chibs gave me a light kiss on the hair before saying goodbye and walking over to his bike. "Should we go inside?" Juice asked. I nodded, moving the stroller towards the house. "Boys, come on." I whistled, right away, the boys were by my side. I smiled and got into the house. Finally, the Day came that Cody was allowed to go home. Juice bought a small bed we had set up next to the twins' bed. Dr Namid told me he's healthy and has no medical issues. "Im so happy to have him." Juice was standing next to me while I had Cody in my arms. "Yeah, im so happy to give him a good home." I stayed home for a week to make it easier for Cody to settle in nicely, but now it was time for me to head back to Work, and a nanny would watch them. My phone rang. It was Jax, who I knew would be away in Oregon for a few days with the boys and Tara. "Hi Sis, how is your new addition getting settled?" he asked. "He's doing great. When is Elyda coming over?" I asked him. "Should be with you soon," he answered as the doorbell rang. "I think that's Elyda," I said and hung up the phone before walking through the hallway to the door while Juice had to prepare for Work. "Hello, Elyda." I smiled as a friendly woman was standing in front of the door. I quickly explained to her what was going on with the twins and Cody. "I have Milk in the fridge, and if you have a problem, you can call me any time." I smiled, passing her a note with my phone number. "I will call if I need anything." Elyda smiled, and I nodded. "Alright." I smiled, thanked her again, and walked out of the house with Juice, who would drive me to the clubhouse, where I got on my bike and went to Work. In the middle of my working Day, I got a frantic phone call from Jax telling me to come to the hospital. Tara was injured. "What happened?" I asked him as I arrived. "Some guys tried to ambush Tara and kidnap her," he told me before making a quick break. "They caught her hand in the van they tried to take her away in." he continued. "Shit. Will she be okay? Where are the boys?" I asked him. "With Elyda, I brought Abel and Thomas to yours for Elyda to watch," he told me, making me nod right when I saw Mom walking up to us. "Jax, I think Clay has something to do with this. I saw him take out some money from our safe at home," she told him. "Are you sure, Mom?" I asked her, and she nodded when a hand was placed on my shoulder. "Hey, giganto." I was relieved to see Ope. "Hey Princess, how are the kids? How is your youngest doing?" he asked. "good, Cody settled in well. He is at home with Elyda." I told him I noticed something strange in his behaviour. He was sad and lost thoughts. "What's going on, buddy? you can talk to me." I quietly told him. "Thanks, Lex." Ope kissed me on the head and walked over to my brother. While they talked, I stayed close to Jax, not listening to what he and Ope were discussing. The next day, it was clear that Tara had to stay in the hospital longer. "The shit with the Lobos had to be settled." Clay growled while they got ready into vests. "Im coming with you, yes, I know it's dangerous. Geez, don't have to tell me, Babe," I told Juice tried to stop me. "I promise you I will do whatever you tell me," I said to Clay, who was also against it. "You are a Mom and a wife, and your task is to stay here and care for the kids," he growled. "You are not my father, Clay. I can choose what to do." I growled at him and grabbed a bulletproof vest. "Don't worry, Jax, I won't interact and stay in the background," I told Jax, getting into the van with an M-16. "Babe, please be careful, alright." Juice walked up to me before driving his bike. "You be careful, alright?" I smiled lightly when Korzik hopped into the van next to me.
