Merideth's Perspective
It started to rain outside. I was listening to music while I sat at the reception desk. I was going through files when I heard the phone go off. I picked it up and put it to my ear.
"Hello, this is Hunter from the Pet Clinic of Beacon Hills, how may I help you?"
"Hey this is Deaton. I just wanted to check how you were with answering the calls. You did great. Well I'll let you get back to your shift. Have a good night." He said and ended the call. I put the phone back and went to use the restroom. I walked out and saw Scott outside with some girl. I rolled my eyes and went to feed the cats and dogs dinner. I finished that and walked back to the reception desk. Scott walked into the surgery room and while he and the girl walked by she glared at me. I flipped her off and she kept walking.
I got back to my job instead of flirting, like Scott. The phone rang I picked it up.
"Hello, this is-"
"Hello Hunter." A raspy voice came through the line.
"How do you know my name?"
"Oh Hunter, you always have been a little bit slow." The voice chuckled.
"Who is this?"
"Hunter, you don't know me. But I know you."
"You don't know me!" I yelled.
"Oh yea. You live on Branchard Ave the third house down the right side of the block. Your mom died and your father is a police officer. Honey, I know you." The voice spoke.
"AHH!" I dropped the phone and ran into the bathroom. I stared to have a panic attack. I hugged my knees and rocked back and forth. I started thinking about if this guy would kill me. Or even my dad. The voices in my head talked, screamed, and bickered. I got up and ran out of the bathroom. Scott and the girl there I pushed past them, grabbed my phone and car keys. I unlocked my car and got in. I drove to woods that Derek told me not to go in. I got out, unhooked the chain, got back in and drove into the woods.
I got drove until I saw a old broken down house. I parked in front of it and got off.
"Derek! Derek! Are you here!" I yelled and ran up to the door. The rain stuck my hair to my shoulders. The porch cover blocked out the rain.
"Derek please! Are you here! I need to talk to you! Please!" I whimpered as a roll of thunder erupted.
"Never mind then!" I ran back to my car. I turned it on and tried to back out. But my tire was stuck. Damn rain!
I got out and went to the front of my car. I pushed it but to no avail. I turned to look for something useful but all I saw were red dots in a spot of trees. It blinked.
It fucking blinked. I ran up the door of the house and the thing followed me. I ran into the house but tripped on the stairs. I fell face first and my nose started to bleed. I got on my back and started to go up the stairs backwards. The creature walked through the door it was hairy and had fangs.
A werewolf.
"Please no." I begged.
The animal lunged at me and bit my stomach. I screamed in pain and Derek appeared at behind the werewolf. But Derek had more hair on his face and his eyes were icy blue. I squirmed around under the werewolf and tried to back away. But the pain was too intense.
Derek howled and the werewolf turned around. Scott and Stiles came through the window at the top of the stairs.
"Stiles help hunter. Derek and I got the alpha!" Scott said and jumped off the stairs. I groaned and adjusted my body on the stairs.
"I brought my Jeep but I saw you drove your Mustang here. Scott you'll have to drive my Jeep!" Stiles picked me up and ran out the front door. He took me to my Mustang and put my in the passenger seat. He closed the door and got in the drivers seat. He put it in drive and drove forward getting my tire unstuck. I groaned again and squirmed around in my seat.
"Stiles! Drive faster!" I yelled and hovered my hand over the bite.
"Okay. Just try not to move that much!"
"We're almost there just keep calm!"
"Stiles." I said before blacking out.
