Merideth's Perspective
"We should go get your lip pierced!" Allison yelled and stood up.
"Hell yea! You know how to drive a Mustang?" I raised my eyebrow.
"Yep. My aunt Kate used to own one I'd drive it all the time." She took my keys and we raced to the car. I got in the passenger seat and she got in the drivers. She turned on the car and took off for the piercing shop.
We arrived and shut off the car. We got out and she threw me the keys. We walked in and stood at the reception desk.
"Hello ladies how may I help you?" A girl with fire orange and red hair asked.
"I would like to get my lip pierced." I stated.
"Okay and which one?" She asked.
"I'd like get snake bites for my formal." I said.
"Okay that'll be $79.95." I gave her the money and she led me and Allison to the piercing room.
"Mkay just sit there while I get the tools." She pointed to a metal chair in the middle of the room.
She got the tools she needed and set them on a table next to the chair. She put on gloves and looked at me.
"So this is gonna hurt a little at first but it'll look great. So you'll have to clean it about twice every week, and all you have to do is take this bottle and pour some on these swisspers circular cleansing pads then just rub around and on the piercing." She said and showed me a bottle of piercing cleaning alcohol and the cleansing pads.
"Okay let's do this." I said and she grabbed the piercing tool.
"Okay I'm gonna do the first one on three. One, two, three." She made the first piercing.
"Half way there. No on three again. One, two, three." She made the second piercing.
"God that fucking stings." I said and clenched my jaw.
"Let me see em'!" Allison said excitedly. I turned to her and her eyes widened.
"You look even more rebellious! I'm jealous!" She yelled and I smiled.
"Thanks."
"We have to go shopping for our outfits!" She yelled and dragged me out of the room.
"Thank you for my piercings!" I yelled to the girl.
"No problem! Have a nice time at your formal!" She yelled back.
