The lucky one - Season 2- chapter 11
Claire’s POV

Without knowing what to do, I see myself with no choice but to call for mom. I know I have to out on one of those things but I don't have them with me, but my pants are also dirty with blood and everyone could see it.

– Fred, are you still outside?– I ask after knocking on the door.

– Yes, Miss.

– I need you a favor, I need you to go find mom and bring her here, and say it’s urgent!

– Are you okay, Miss? Do you need a doctor?

– I just need mom, thanks.

– Fine, I”ll be back in a second, keep the door locked.

In about five minutes mom knocks the door.

– Claire, it’s mom, I’m here, unlock the door.

I unlock the door and stare at her with trembling lips before hugging her.

– What’s up, honey?

I take a deep breath and take my panties off in front of her without saying anything.

– Oh honey, you got your period! My babe girl isn’t a kid anymore– she says while hugging me.

– I hate this.

She chuckles.

– You get used to it.

– How am I going to get out of here? There’s blood everywhere in my legs.

– Take your jacket off and put it around your waist. It will cover the blood in your pants so we can walk to Taylor’s dressing room. Thankfully there’s an extra pair of clothes for you there, so you are going to take a shower.

I do what she said and we get in Taylor’s dressing room.

– Look, honey, you are exhausted today but tomorrow I’m going to explain everything about periods for you. For today I’m going to put a pad in your panties but there’s several other options you can test.

She shows me how to stick it in my panties and I take a shower, whining feeling my leg hurting again. With some difficulty I put on the pantie with the pad, and a pair of soft  trousers and a cute T-shirt. It’s weird to feel this thing in my panties.

– Mom, my leg is hurting again. I told Taylor it was a headache but it’s on the leg. – I say almost in tears.

She kisses my forehead and makes me lie on the couch.

– It’s okay honey, it’s called period cramps and it’s normal. You can feel the pain in your legs, tummy and back. I’m going to give you a painkiller since I don’t have a hot bottle here.

I mumble so she knows I understand what she’s saying.  She comes and I swallow the pill before falling asleep almost immediately after.

Taylor’s POV

One more show successfully concluded and I can’t believe I’m going to Nashville tomorrow. It’s time to finally announce "speak now” there next weekend and I’m jumping of excitement backstage.

– Hey, Fred, did you see mom? – I asked one of my bodyguards.

– Yes, ma’am, she’s in your dressing room solving an issue with Miss Finlay.

– What kind of issue?

– I don’t know for sure, but she was pale. The girl came to the bathroom earlier and right after asked me to bring your mommy saying it was urgent. They have been in your room ever since.
