Chapter 17- The Lucky one season 2

July 27th

Claire’s POV

– Taylor, I’m bored as hell! What’s the point of coming to LA in the middle of the week, between shows, if we don’t even jump in the pool?

Taylor sighs.

– Fine, I’m done working today anyway.

– What are you doing on the computer the whole day?

– I was giving the final touches to the emails we are going to send to a few actors we hope agree on being in our movie, as well as the announcement of the minimum requests to the others roles. We are doing the cast selection in August, right after the last show.

– Nice!

– It is. And I even have a proposal for you.

– What?

– I have a role for you in the movie. Not a big one, that would be nepotism but…

– Accepted.

– I didn’t even tell you what it is about!

– I don’t care,it’s mine now, whatever character it is. My acting skills are enough to do whatever you want me to play, even a man.

To say she was surprised with my answer would be an understatement. She was gagged, then she started to laugh so hard she scared Benji who was by her side. I joined her in the laugh session of course.

When we recovered we went upstairs for a quick change in our outfits and jumped in the pool, splashing water around and screaming as we splash water on each other. Our screams scare the security guards, who come to see if everything is in order.

– Everything okay, miss Swift? We  thought we heard screams.

– Yes, Greg, it’s just this troublemaker and I competing. – She says, barely holding back her laugh. – Thanks for checking on us. Oh, before I forget, text me please yours and Jake’s and everyone’s favorite pizza flavors so I can order it for everyone. We are having a pizza night tonight.

He blushes and nods, thanking her and leaving us.

I burst out laughing.

– What babe?

– He blushes when you talk to him.

– He sure does. The others too, they are always shy when I do a little something for them. Of course they stay in the guest house and I give everything they need and they are free to buy whatever they want and leave when they are not on duty, but I like to surprise them every once in a while as a way of expressing my gratitude for them.

I smile at my sister. She’s really a great and genuine person.

– So, what is my role? Wait, first tell me what the movie is even about!

She chuckles and throws a pool spaghetti at me before answering.

– Float then, it’s not a small history.

I do and we stay there in the pool for about 45 minutes straight during which I barely expressed myself other than gasps and curses. I’m in shock, this is going to kill her fans. I’ve never been more proud of being her sister.

– So, what do you think?

– Sorry for the curse but, you are truly a fucking genius.

She burst out laughing.

– I’m serious. You are so winning an Oscar for best directing in a couple years!

– Thanks babe, your support means the world to me.
