Taylor's POV

October 3rd.

Taking the baby in my arms, I ask mom to sit while I pass it to her. Seeing Ana was firmly wrapped on mom's experienced arms, I smiled as I said:

- Mom, meet your future granddaughter, Anastasia Andrea Swift.

Mom gasps as she looks at me with teary eyes.

- Taylor, are you serious?

I nod, and mom lets out a strangled 'thanks' between tears, looking at the baby with the purest love in her eyes.

- Hi, little girl, I'm going to be your grandma, you know? You and I are going to spend lots of time together while your mommy works.

Anastasia opens her curious, tiny eyes, and mom gasps.

- Oh my God, you have such beautiful eyes.

I dry my eyes and clear my throat.

- Travis is going to be obsessed with these beautiful eyes tomorrow.

- Oh for sure. She's so cute. What an honor to have my name as her middle name, Taylor. Thank you so much for this.

- I wouldn't have it in any other way, mom. Without you by my side, I wouldn't be here where I am.- I smile at her, both of us emotional, looking between the baby and the other.

Then Anastasia lets out a yawn, and mom and I can't help but laugh at how adorable she is.

- Here baby, take her and do the kangaroo thing.

I close the curtain and stay just in my bra before taking her from mom. These last two days, it became almost instinctive to me to take her in my arms and lay her body on my chest.

I sit with her, and when I look at mom, she's silently taking pictures of me.

- Mom... My hair is a mess.

- No one will be looking at your hair, trust me.- She chuckles.

She makes tiny sounds between the yawns, and I laugh.

- You want to talk to me and grandma? Soon you will, babe.

The baby looks curious at me after my laugh.

- You, Anastasia, changed my life. You don't know it yet but you turned my life upside down and now I'll have to make big changes but I do it in a heartbeat, because I'm in love with you. I don't know what I'm doing, but I will name you after your grandma because she's the strongest person I know, and I want you to be this strong too.

I hear a sniffing and see mom wipe her eyes with a handkerchief.

- My baby is taking care of a baby on the verge of becoming a mother. It 's surreal.

I chuckle.

- Surreal is a good word. I put her in my chest, and I keep wondering if I'm dreaming or not. Never thought I would be here all worried about a baby that isn't biologically mine, much less loving her this much and wanting to go on and buy all sorts of cute clothes and baby stuff.

Mom laughs.

- I know you have an unlimited amount of money but make sure you don't buy way too many clothes. They outgrow the newborn and one month old clothes really fast. Instead, buy more clothes that are 2 or 3 numbers bigger and keep them in the wardrobe.

- Thanks, mom. As soon as they give me the okay sign I'll sit with you and we will buy many cute clothes for her.

- It will be my pleasure. Have you talked about the tour with Tree and came up with a plan for the shows in Argentina and Brazil?
