PSA this takes place after Maria fell asleep on the couch after getting the sonic coins knocked out her nose in chapter 3 of NGBH 😭😭

ALSO this story with contain thoughts of self harm and other things like that so if you're sensitive to that subject please don't read 😄

Maria awoke with a huge head ache from what took place a couple of hours ago.

She looked around seeing she was still on the couch where she'd fallen asleep.

Feeling the heavy weight on her chest she placed her hand there feeling Kaari's steady breathing as she slept on her chest.

"What the fuck?" Maria mumbled to herself.

Maria held Kaari as she sat up on the couch realizing everything she had just experienced was all a bad dream.

Everything in that dream felt so real, like it really happened in real time.

Maria was scared and wanted to go upstairs with Temetrius but out of fear of being punched again, she laid back down on the couch.

Maria didn't know what to take from the dream. 

Honestly, she was scared to go back to sleep.

She tried closing her eyes but every time she did, she pictured herself falling down the stairs, breaking her neck.

As if it were on replay in her mind.

"I can't take this." Maria sobbed to herself.

She held Kaari in her arms, carrying her back into her bed, she gave the little girl a kiss on the forehead then crept up the stairs to her bedroom.

Temetrius was fast asleep, probably dreaming about how he punched Maria in the nose a couple of hours ago.

"Metri." Maria shook his sleeping body "Please wake up."

"What Maria?" He groaned as he slowly woke up.

Maria told Temetrius she had a bad dream and was terrified to go back to sleep.

"You killed me Metri." Maria held onto his arm as she cried.

"I killed you?" He turned around to finally face her.

Temetrius saw the terror on Maria's face and instantly comforted her.

"I'm sorry that happened baby." He gave her a kiss on her bruised nose "And I'm sorry I punched you."

Maria sulked into his arms as he held her tight.

Temetrius did in fact feel sorry for hitting Maria.

He knew his strength, he was too strong to be hitting her.

Temetrius told Maria to explain the whole dream to him so she did.
