"Babe!" Maria shouted from their bedroom.

They were getting ready to go out and meet with a few of Temetrius friends.

Temetrius rushed in the room after he heard Maria yell for him.

"Can you help me zippin this dress up? I been wrestling with this zipper for like 5 minutes now."

Temetrius walked up behind Maria, wrapping his arms around her.

"Yea you been struggling cus you gaining weight." he patted Maria's stomach.

Maria nervously laughed, scared he knew she was pregnant.

"Naw this dress just too small." Maria sucked in her stomach.

She didn't need Temetrius knowing she was pregnant.

At least not yet.

"I don't think it's the dress baby."  he zipped the dress up then sat on the bed across from where Maria stood.

Temetrius asked her when was her last period.

She told him it was a week ago, but he already knew she was lying.

"Go take a pregnancy test." Temetrius pointed towards the bathroom.

"Ja- I mean Temetrius. I'm not pregnant." Maria tried to laugh it off.

She was afraid that if she were pregnant he would make her abort it.

"Go take the damn test Maria." his voice got louder.

Maria sat there silently staring him down until he got up off the bed where he was sitting at.

She rushed to the bathroom and locked the door.

Maria stood by the mirror breathing heavily until Temetrius knocked on the door asking her to open it.

Shaking, she told him she couldn't right now because she was on the toilet already.

"I-I'll open it in a little bit." Maria's voice trembled.

He stood by the door until finally it opened. "Where's the test?" he looked around.

Maria looked at him. "I-I-I didn't take it." she admitted.

He asked her why she didn't take it and she lied...again.

She told Temetrius there weren't any even though he had just bought some.

"We can go down to the doctor's office if taking a test is an issue." he spoke.

Maria shook her head.

Temetrius grabbed the car keys telling her, come on, but she refused.

He was trying his hardest not to force her into that car, but he really wanted to know if she was pregnant or not.

"Just let it go Ja we about to be late." Maria pushed him away not even realizing what she just called him.

It took everything in him not to say anything about it.

He tells her to go finish getting ready and meet him downstairs in about 30 minutes.

They met up with Temetrius friends at this nearby club a few blocks from where they lived.

Temetrius dapped up one friend whose name was Tony while the other friend, Devonte, gave Maria a simple hug.

They sat at a booth in the club while they waited for Tony's girlfriend.

This would be everyone's first time meeting her so Tony told them be on their best behavior.

"I can't promise anything." Temetrius laughed.
