Weeks went by like days after Maria's trip with Berlyn.

Maria and Temetrius's relationship had gotten better since she put on that front for both him and Kk.

"So." Williams clicked her pen "How have things at home been?" she asked.

Temetrius smiled, so did Maria.

"Things have been going great since my trip." Maria rubbed her hands alongside the jeans she wore.

Williams turned to Temetrius for confirmation.

He agreed with Maria "She even made up with Kk. I don't know what possessed her to do that." he said with a happy shrug.

That sparked a reaction of genuine happiness from Williams.

"That's good to hear." she smiled then wrote in her journal.

Maria smiled as well, "We're going to diner later on. Me, her, and Kaari." she said.

"Also." Temetrius pulled something out of his pocket "Our gender reveal is going to be soon too." he handed an invitation to Williams.

Williams took the invitation, placing it in the back of her folder.

"Thank you." she smiled once more.

"Now onto Maria's emotions, how are they?" she asked with the click of her pen.

Maria couldn't give her a straight answer.

"I don't know." she shrugged.

"Parts of me still felt numb, but something, I think the baby, is making me emotional." Maria spoke as if she was unsure of herself.

Williams smiled "That's great." she wrote down everything Maria just told her.

"Try focusing on the positive things in life instead of the stressful things. Life tends to go by smoother when we do." she said.

Maria took that into consideration.

"When's our next appointment?" Temetrius asked.

Williams checked their schedule.

They weren't booked for another appointment for another two weeks.

"You guys come back on the 18th." she tapped her finger on their next appointment.

Temetrius nodded "That's cool."

He and Maria both stood up to leave.

"If you guys want to push up the appointments let me know." Williams walked the couple out her office door.

Once they got back to the house Maria immediately took off her shoes.

"Walking around all day in these shoes while pregnant wasn't a good idea." she spoke as she threw one of her shoes across the room.

"Told you not to wear them." Temetrius chuckled.

Maria noticed the lack of annoyance in the air that usually would be caused by one person.

"Where's Kk?" she turned to Temetrius to ask.

Taking a seat on the couch next to Maria, Temetrius told her she was at the mall.

"She texted like an hour ago saying she and Kaari were out." he said.

Maria smiled heavenly.

"Guess we have the whole house to ourselves." she looked Temetrius up and down while biting down on her bottom lip.

Temetrius shook his head, pushing her away.

"Naw let's just watch a movie." his hand went to pick up the remote.
