Chapter 5: Friends Intertwined By The Hearts

Brook Pov: Today is Sunday and the dawn of a new week being in this world much has happened cents yesterday with me helping Nagisa with her flag and finally fighting one of the many beings that resigned in the Dark Zone. As Gadget was still working on his new gizmo, I decided to head over to the city and to the takoyaki cafe van not to enjoy the fine meals but to help Akane out as Hikari was off somewhere As I made it towards her van I saw a few folks orders being taken or some just having there meal there.

Me: Pardon me.

Akane: Hello how may I- wait I recognize that hair style, your that boy who came here with your cloaked friend.

Me: Oh, you remember well I'm Brook Morison by any chance would a girl named Hikari work here?

Akane: So your the boy Hikari mentioned it's nice to finally meet you and she dose but at the moment she's out with some of her school friends anyway, what brings you here?

Me: Well I was wondering if I could help around seeing as how you somewhat have your hands tied at times.

Akane: Oh? Want to lend a helping hand I see. Say by any chance would you like to work here?

Me: It's much appreciated but, that's ok I'm not really looking for any positions of work at the moment.

Akane: I understand but cents your here could you give me a hand like you said.

Me: Of course.

That said I lent Akane some help and gave the customers there orders while also writing theme down for her to make and once they were gone, I to work cleaning up the tables.

Akane: Well look at that you really something kid.

Me: Well I did work at a buffet before so this is nothing new to me.

Akane: Really? Nagisa wasn't kidding when she told me you had experience with work like this.

Me: She told you that did she? Well see you.

I was then off further into the city to see what other wonders of Japan there were until I heard a familiar voice heading my direction.

Seekun: Sir Morison!

Me: Oh, Seekun what are you and the other heartiels doing here?

Seekun: We wanted to see the rest of the city and be on the lookout for the other heartiels.

Passion: That's right.

Harmony: Indeed.

Pure: By the way, where is your friend?

Me: You mean Gadget, he's back at the ship working on some new gizmo for it said it will come in handy for the journey.

Passion: That's some dedication hope he gets it done.

Harmony: Me to.

Pure: By the way, thank you for saving both me and Seekun, Brook.

Me: No problem.

Seekun: You power is incredible I've never seen anything like it.

Passion: Yeah, like those fire spells and the way They're used to attack and defend.

As me and the heartiels had our conversation, I then noticed that we made it to the city bridge where I could see folks as far as the eye can see and at the bottom were some teens my age playing basketball.
