Chapter 27: The Mysteries Within

3rd person: It was the dawn of anothee new day with Nagisa and Honoka waking up from and heading to the lounge of the ship where Brook, Gadget and Hikari were having breakfast on the table and Heiwa munching on something in his food bowl.

Brook: Good morning you two, how are you feeling?

Nagisa: like we got hit by a storm cloud.

Honoka: What happened yesterday?

Gadget: we figured as much, I take it you can't recall yesterday?

The two nodded in agreement leaving the three of them to explain what happened when the rest of them arrived to help Brook and Karen causing the two to be a little surprised at this seeing as how this was the second time something like this happened to them.

Hikari: Are you sure the two of you are okay?

Honoka: Yes, it's just that...

Nagisa: We didn't expect to be the ones in Brooks shoes.

Gadget: You three DID unite in said darken states to fight the Dark King.

Brook: Speaking of the subject, I've been meaning to tell you two something.

Honoka: Witch is?

Brook: remember when I asked you who Kiriya was?

Nagisa: Yeah witch reminds me, where did you here that name?

Brook: When I was in that hibernated state you told me about, and that's not all I encountered Kiriya in the ship at that time.

Nagisa and Honoka: Really!?

Hikari: But how, from what I was told he sacrificed himself to help them.

Gadget: Would you believe us if we said that HE was the grey hooded figure who saved Brook?

The two were understandably shocked at this and wondered how it could have been possible.

Hikari: What did he tell you when you met him?

Gadget: All he said was that even he didn't know why he was back and just left.

Brook: Regaurdless, I choose to believe he's on our side. That being the case, we should probably see what's up with the others.

That said the group was on there way to the shop to see how things were until they saw Urara's producer and two other men make a mad dash out of the store causing them to head in and see what was up only to hear from downstairs that the two In question were Urara's dad and grandfather that tended to express there love for there super star a bit more than usual. This then caused Brook to be reminded of his past after his parents left until he heard how her mother passed from an illness almost like his aunt did now that he thought of it he could still remember the day when he asked his grand parents why his uncle was very sad and what happened to his aunt and them having to tell him. This memory left a pit in his stomach causing him to leave the shop and go for a little walk to clear his mind.

As he walked through the town he came across a mall and decided to look around until he felt a dark and knew there was trouble nearby causing him to sprint in the direction until he saw the prey mantis hybrid man holding Urara captive as the others going in to save here in there cure forms he then rushed inside through one of the windows on the upper level and was met with Uraras captive dropping a notebook on the ground on soon being covered by a mask with an unversed symbol on it turning it into another hybrid.

Urara: Stop It! That notebook was the last thing my mother gave me, and holds all the memories of her!

This shocked Brook to his core as he saw Urara then break down in tears, the very thing that held any ties to her mother was being used to destroy others. The memory of his grandparents giving him his heart shaped locket that his mother and father had for his 13th birthday crossed his mind he remembered the emotions he felt back then joy, sadness, nostalgia just in that one moment and in this very moment one of his friends was in pain at the thought of her notebook being destroyed after becoming an unversed hybrid. This caused him to cry while being infuriated in this very moment he felt the same emotion as everyone, he was disgusted by this just then his pendant started to glow with his body as he felt the will to save his friend in desperation causing him to resort to the only thing he felt must be done in this moment.
