Right at first light Chyla leaped off her sleeping mat and made her way to Vivica's room, upon finding it empty she rushed over to the common board, where she found a note from Enkoro under the general pin letting them known that Vivica may be staying another day in the village.

Reteh: What's wrong Chy-su?

Turning to look behind her Chyla saw Reteh walking towards her from the hallway.

Chyla: Morning Re-re... *depressed* Doesn't look like Viv's coming back today.

Reteh: *concerned hum* Looks like another vague note too.

Hearing the main door open Chyla looked towards it to see Kion walking in on a crutch.

Chyla: *disapproving* Ki-su! Why are you wondering around on your own?

Kion: *disheartened* I wanted to see if anyone knew anything about Viv.

Chyla: *disapproving* You should have come to me for that.

Reteh: I don't think you should chastise him like that.

Chyla: Why not?

Reteh: Because all you're doing is trying to make him feel bad. He has a hurt ankle he's not a helpless little fluff.

Chyla: *snarl* So it's okay for Yineh, and Vivica to lecture him but not—me?

Reteh: Yi-su and Vi-su don't chastise him they offer him advice. You're not offering him advice, you're just telling him he should do what you think he should do.

Chyla: *long slow inhale* Okay, Smarty-su how should I have gone about this?

Chyla watched dumbfounded as Reteh walked past her without saying a word and gave Kion a long lingering hug.

Reteh: It'll be okay, I'm sure Vi-su's fine. Enky-su likes being overly cautious.

Kion: *warm smile* Thank you ... I think I'm going to lay back down for a bit.

Reteh broke her hug with Kion, gave him a kiss, helped him to his room, then returned to Chyla.

Reteh: *smug smile* And that's what I would have done from the get go. As Fre-su has always said, "one should worry first about the feelings of those they love, and pounder intently on our feelings of disappointment." Which is to say, if you feel as though one has disappointed you, you should first take care of them, and worry about chastising them later after you have thoroughly thought it through.

Chyla: I'll keep that in mind... So~ I don't want this to sound rude, but I can't think of any other way to put it. Are you aware of how much like a boy you act most of the time? You really don't act like a girl, too often. You're normally demure, obsessed with feelings, and of course often quoting the male rammu. When we first met I thought you were just a bit of a scaredy-fish, but really you're just boy-ish.

Reteh: *nervous fidgeting* That's not entirely true, I'm genuinely nervous when meeting new people, *low whisper* especially other girls.

Chyla: Probably because you're afraid of confrontation, because you act like a boy. *raspberry*
