Jack's POV

I led Elsa to her new locker. It was only four away from mine, so I would be able to keep an eye on her. The girl obviously had no idea how to fend for herself. But I couldn't blame her. The poor thing had gotten mixed up with Pitch Black on her first day. That could mess up anyone.

"This is your locker," I said while tapping it. Elsa looked at it.

"Ever seen a locker before?" I asked, not entirely expecting her to answer.

"No," She said.

"Geez, where did you live before now? Antarctica?" I asked. She shook her head.

"I lived in Arandelle with my sister," She said. I snorted.

"Never heard of the place. Where is it?" I asked.

"It's a castle. Surely you've heard of it?" She said.

"Nope. Let me guess, you're some sort of Princess?" I asked. Obviously this girl was either messing with me, or she was a few snowflakes short of a blizzard.

"I-" She started to say, and then her eyes widened and she shut her mouth. I raised my eyebrows. What was up with this girl?

"What?" I asked.

"I shouldn't have said that. Please forget that I mentioned anything," She said.

"Gladly," I muttered under my breath. The guys were never gonna believe this when I told them. I had found a genuine crazy person.

Right at that moment the bell rang. I took my chance to go.

"I'm going to head to class now. Bye," I said.

"Wait! Could you please tell me where my next class is?" She asked. I sighed. But I helped her anyway. What can I say? I'm a sucker for pretty girls in need of help. I looked at her class schedule.

"That way. Room 1147," I said.

"Thank you Jack," She said while hurrying away. I laughed quietly as I watched her leave. Then I turned around and went to my next class. It was History. I had both of my best friends, Hiccup and Eugene, in that class.

As soon as I entered the classroom, I noticed something different. Eugene and Hiccup were both sitting with a girl. She was definitely new as well, because I would have remembered seeing anyone with blond hair like that. I sat down next to Hiccup.

"What's up guys?" I asked.

"Hey Jack. We were just talking with Rapunzel here," Hiccup said.

"Is she new too?" I asked. Hiccup gave me a funny look.

"What do you mean 'too'?" He asked.

"I just ran into a girl in the hallway. White braid, blue eyes. She was totally clueless. She acted like she didn't even know what a locker was, and she curtseyed when she introduced herself. Said she was homeschooled," I explained.

"Oh! I know her! Her name's Elsa!" Rapunzel piped up.

"Are you her sister or something?" I asked.

"No, we just met a little while ago," Rapunzel said.

"Are you new?" I asked. She nodded.

"Great. How many more of you are there?" I asked.

"Just me, Elsa, and Merida. Kristoff is helping us get adjusted," Rapunzel explained.

"The geek who's always absent? You can do better than that. Stick with us, and we'll show you everything you need to know about Star High," Eugene said.

"Hold up just a moment. You want her to tag along?" I asked Eugene.

"Why not?" He asked.

"Conference. Now," I said.

"Excuse us a moment," Hiccup told Rapunzel. Hiccup, Eugene and I got into a football huddle.

"Let it be said that a girl has never joined our group before," I said.

"I'm not saying she joins our group, I'm just saying we show her the ropes," Eugene protested.

"And if she discovers my... secret?" I asked quietly.

"She won't. You've got it pretty much under control by now, right?" Eugene asked.

"Of course I do, but I don't want to end up in some freaky science lab," I growled.

"Let's put it to vote. All in favor of keeping Rapunzel five fingers. All against two fingers," Euegen said. He held out his whole hand, I held out two fingers. We both looked at Hiccup.

"You've got the deciding vote man," Eugene said. Hiccup thought for a moment, and then held out his hand. Eugene smiled.

"She's a keeper!" He said happily.

"Fine, but we are not going to let the other weirdos follow us around," I grumbled. We broke up the conference and joined Rapunzel again.

"You can stay," Eugene said.
