Conceal Don't Feel

Elsa's POV

I was at lunch when I made a big mistake. I was sitting at a table by myself, and I noticed that my slushy/ice-cream thing wasn't frozen. I twirled my finger over it, and it froze. Kristoff sat at the table across from me.

"Elsa! What do you think you're doing?" He hissed.

"Freezing this," I replied.

"You're supposed to be normal, remember? That means no ice powers! No one can find out about them, or else we're history! You, me, Rapunzel, and Merida!" Kristoff said.

"Oh. I'm sorry Kristoff," I said. Kristoff sighed.

"It's all right. I'm sorry I snapped at you your high- I mean, Elsa," He said. Suddenly, Rapunzel joined us at our table. To my surprise, three guys followed her. I didn't recognize two of them, but the third was Jack. He didn't look entirely happy to be sitting here with us.

"Hey Elsa! Hi Kristoff!" Rapunzel said brightly.

"Hi," I said quietly. Kristoff didn't say anything.

"So, this is Elsa. Hanging out with nerdy Kristof no less," One of the guys said. He was wearing a white shirt and a brown leather jacket.

"And here are the Dragons with the new girl. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it myself," Kristoff snapped.

"I was outvoted," Jack explained.

"Hey, Rapunzel's actually good company. Better than I can say for you," The other guy, this one wearing a white shirt and brown sweater, said.

"Look, just leave Elsa, Rapunzel, and Merida alone," Kristoff said with a sigh.

"Make us," Jack growled.

"Hey guys, just calm down for a moment. A friend of Rapunzel's in an... an acquaintance of mine. By the way, I'm Eugene, this is Hiccup, and that's Jack," Eugene said to me. Eugene was the one with the leather jacket.

"I'm the same as Eugene. Besides, how bad can the girls be?" Hiccup asked.

"Bad," Jack muttered under his breath. I was starting to not like him very much. What was his deal? I was itching to freeze their ears, and apparently Kristoff could tell what I wanted to do. He shot me a warning glance, and I stuffed my ice powers down deep inside.

"Anyway, I for one am going to try to start over. So here it goes... Hi everyone, I'm Eugene Fitzherbert," Eugene said. Rapunzel laughed.

"And I'm Hiccup Haddock," Hiccup said. Hiccup and Eugene both glanced at Jack. He sighed and rolled his eyes.

"Fine. I'm Jack," He muttered without looking at us.

"Look them in the eye Jack," Hiccup said. Jack shot a look at Hiccup.

"Why should I? The girl belongs in a mental asylum and the guy is a total jerk and loser!" Jack complained. That was the last straw. I slammed my hands onto the table.

"You should learn some respect! What did we ever do to you?" I snapped. I couldn't help it. First I was attacked in the middle of the night, then I lost Anna, and now I was stuck in some crazy upside down world! What right did Jack have to insult me and Kristoff like that?

"Elsa!" Kristoff said in a horrified voice. I turned to look at him. He was staring at my hands. I glanced down. Ice was starting to creep away from my fingers. I felt the familiar fear come back. It was just like old times. I couldn't control it anymore!

I stood up and rushed away while leaving my food practically untouched. People shot me curious looks as I passed, but I ignored them all. I ran into the girls bathroom, locked myself in a stall, and started crying as the events of the day crashed onto me.
