Only a few hours after Ahsoka, Wolffe, Rex, and their legions departed from Mandalore, many of the Nite Owls are still working to help clear the city of debris so that rebuilding can start as soon as possible. The baar'urs are treating civilian and warrior injuries, while the clan leaders meet in what is left of the throne room of the palace.
Once they arrive there, Fenn Rau raises his eyebrow. "This place certainly took a beating."
Nya shrugs. "Maul was captured, besides, the only damage we did is the window above the throne. The big window there," she points to where the large window of the throne room once was, "that was blown out by an explosion. Which was not mine, Maul's, or Ahsoka's fault."
Bo gives her daughter a slight smile. "It can all be built again. All that matters is that Maul is in custody and that Mandalore belongs to Mandalorians again."
"Agreed," Ursa says. "But now that the battle is won, we need to decide on our next course of action."
Nya nods. "Including finding Videk Beroya."
Videk's father, Rhett Beroya, and the leader of the clan crosses his arms and looks at Nya questioningly. "What do you mean?"
Nya purses her lips and looks at Sabine and Tristan. "I have reason to believe that during the arial battle, Videk killed Sarai Naak of Clan Kelborn and joined Death Watch in the battle. However, as far as I know, he has not been located though Sarai's body has. Someone broke her neck, and did it in a way that is consistent with the fighting techniques of Clan Beroya."
Rhett's face pulls into an expression of shock. Videk was his eldest son and his heir, the young man had a bright future ahead of him as the heir to a clan of House Vizla. His younger brother, Aalar, if these claims against him are true, has now become the heir to Clan Beroya as no Mandalorian would accept a traitor as their leader.
After a moment, Rhett's face then pulls into an expression of resignation as he nods.
"I will send warriors out to search for Videk Beroya then," Ursa says, turning to her son and telling him to gather trustworthy warriors and send them out to find the young man. Tristan does as he is told and leaves to gather a small task force to do just that.
"In the meantime," Jaro Skirata says, "I feel the need to express my choice as to who the Mand'alor ought to be. A sentiment I believe is echoed by everyone here."
The other clan leaders murmur their agreement, all that is, except for Bo-Katan. She is quite confused at what they mean to do and at seeing Nya's smirk, her confusion only increases. It is Fenn Rau who begins to express his opinion, and the opinions of his warriors.
"I, and my warriors, wish for Lady Bo-Katan Kryze to take the throne of Mandalore as the Mand'alor."
The other clan leaders begin to echo his statement. But all in all, they agree that the next Mand'alor will be Bo-Katan Kryze. Well, she is rather surprised and somewhat shocked that all of the clan leaders who joined the rebellion against Maul agree that she would be the best to lead them now. Knowing that, it makes the red headed woman stand just a bit taller. And so she agrees.
And by agreeing, she sets in stone the future of Mandalore. And all that is in store for the Mandalorians as a people.
But before any celebrations amongst the leaders and their children can even begin to take place over the new Mand'alor, Nya suddenly falls to her knees. As she falls, the young Mandalorian woman screams. Her cries are filled with pain as she clutches her head in her hands. Pain tearing through her body like a rancor charging through a crowd.
