7.Nightmare

LUCIFER'S POV:

"Bo-sss plea-se forgive me,, I- i didn't mean it, I-i was just-". Axel kicked him in his abdomen, cutting him off. 

The man looks so horrified while looking at me with pleading eyes. I hate this kind of man. If you did something, you should be ready for the consequences before doing it, not plead for forgiveness.

I stand up from my chair and walk towards the man whilst playing with the knife in my hand.

"Hmmm well well, Jake... do you remember MY Rules?". I ask as I bent down lifting up his face using my knife.

He looks so scared and it looks even more satisfying.

"Not to get on your bad side". He stated scared of his life. I nod in satisfaction.

"Uh huh,, seems like you didn't forget it....... hmmmm . Do you know what you did exactly?". He winced in pain when I trailed the knife in his check, making it bleed a little.

"I-i really apologize boss' I-I promise i wouldn't do it next ti-." I cut him pushing  the knife in his face harder and the blood gushing out from his cheeks. The room filled with scream as he kept begging for his life. Unfortunately for him, I have no mercy for anyone.

''DO YOU FUCKING KNOW WHAT YOU JUST DID?? HUH??, YOU FUCKING STOLE MILLIONS FROM ME YOU FUCKING IDIOT." I snapped at him kicking him in his groin.He rolled on the floor holding his groin and his cheeks in his other hand as he screamed out in pain.

"P Please.. boss give me a chance. I will return the money with interest j-just please i spare my life". I laughed maniacally and kick his groin once more as he rolls like a ball in the floor.

"I don't care about money, no matter how much you give me it won't change the fact that you betrayed me meaning,, your life was already over the moment you stole from me". I stabbed the knife right in his left shoulder and blood started to gush out. He screamed like hell making music to my ear. How i love to torture someone like this. 

'' Well I guess what's done is done.......they suffer the consequences ". I kick him in his face before turning my back at him and look at Axel.

"Skin him alive and carvehis eyes out after cutting his finger one by one and make sure to chop him into pieces then feed him to the dog''. I stated with full power towards my men.

"No no no please boss give me another cha-". He wasn't able to finish his sentence when Jacob, one of my men, stabbed the knife in his left shoulder and he screamed with agony.

"Roger boss". I heard my Man say before completely disappearing in their sights.

I made my way to my office and sat on my chair before letting out a deep sigh.I became a monster i shouldn't be.

I stared at my ceilings as I closed my eyes.

"The moon is beautiful isn't it?". I hear her say in my shoulder. I smiled and stroked her hair.

"It is.... but not as beautiful as you". She chuckled at my remark and stared at me. Her green eyes meet my blue one. Her face is like an angel. I could stare at it forever without blinking. Suddenly I noticed a hint of sadness in her eyes.

" I wish we could stay like this forever". She blurted out pure sadness in her tone.I cupped her cheeks with my hands and made her face me fully.

"Why not?? I mean we can, right??  We love each other. We can stay like this as long as we want!!". A smile made its way to her face as she cupped my face and stared at me lovingly.

"Lucifer, promise me,, we'll stay together forever and ever and love each other more than anyone else,,,,,promise me". She sticks out her pinky finger and I collide my finger with her.

"Even if you don't love me anymore,,, I'll find a way for you to love me again until you can't live without me,,, I promise,,, I'd rather die than let you go". We stared at each other as our faces got closer and our lips collided with each other with hungry kisses and desires building between us. 

Kissing her in front of the lovely moon was everything I could ask for but.......

I stared at my hands full of blood. I didn't realize what I did. All I could think of was killing the already lifeless body in front of me and making him pay for everything he did.

"L-lucifer". Suddenly I heard a sob and a voice calling my name, making my heartbeat fast. Time seems to stop as I recognize who that voice belongs to.

There in the right corner of my eye. I can see the nightmare i've been afraid of the most. I couldn't think straight and my mouth fell agape unable to say anything. My feet started to drag me towards the frightened frame in front of me as a tear escape my eyes.

"Don't get closer". My movement was abruptly stopped by those words.

"W-why??Lucifer, why?? Why did you do that?? . She asked, crying as tears flowed down on her angelic face. My body starts to shake.

"I-I-i". I tried to explain but no words came out of my mouth. Seeing her cry like that is hell. I walked even closer to her until I reached her and tried to touch her cheeks with my blooded hand but she flinched away from me. 

"You're a monster, I hate you". I felt my world crumbling with those words. 

I opened my eyes when I felt a liquid falling from my eye. It's the worst day of my life. The moment when I felt dying. The words I couldn't stand no matter what. It's my nightmare. I can still remember the look of disgust, fear and hate in her face that haunts me every night.

The moment when the most important woman in my life looks at me as if i'm the worst being in the world. She hated me as much as she love me. The most loving green eyes I've seen turned into the most hateful eyes I could ever see.

It's been five years but it still feels like yesterday. The memories are still fresh as it could be. The wound it causes me never heals. She was my everything and she destroyed me in the most painful way she can. She broke the same promise she made.

I wiped the tears that escaped my eyes and got up to leave. 

I arrive at the mansion after an hour of driving and park my car in the garage before coming out of it. I was almost to the front door when  two people caught my eye.

I felt the anger rush through my veins at the sight in front of me.There, the gardener touched Athena's cheeks while bringing his face closer to hers as she closed her eyes and she was......Smiling??.
