Beckett's house is beautiful. Walking in the front door to the main level where the kitchen, livingroom, and dining room is, is all open and spacious. The only thing separating the rooms is these large columns. The back part of the open floor plan is where the kitchen and dining room is, there are large windows that line the back wall. A sliding glass door that leads out back. The lake in the background makes this scene look like a portrait. The hardwood floors are shining in the evening sunset coming in through those large windows. The walls are painted a soft gray color, which makes this entire space brighter.

"Want a tour?" He asks as I stand there following the room with my eyes.

Smiling, I reply, "yes please."

He walks up to me and wraps his arms around me. He places a kiss on the top of my head as he releases his hold to grab my hand, tugging me behind him.

"As you can see, this is the living room, dining room and kitchen." He says with a wink. Walking towards the right side of the open space he points to a door, "that's my office, not that I actually use it but it made sense to have on." I laugh and he shrugs. Pointing to the door beside it, that's the only bathroom downstairs, it's only a half bath. Leading me towards the kitchen he points to the left corner, "That's the mud room, which is also the laundry room."

We walk back out of the mud room and into the kitchen and stand at the island. He grabs the steaks from the fridge and sits them on the counter as he tosses the pan of potatoes in the oven.

"On the opposite side of the living room is the staircase that leads upstairs. It leads to the master bedroom and bathroom. There's also two bedrooms upstairs with a Jack and Jill bathroom between them. I can give you a tour upstairs after dinner if you want."

He fidgets nervously at the island. I walk close to him and wrap my arms around his middle.

"You have a beautiful home, Beckett."

"I'm glad you like it. I've had a lot of work done since I moved in. I started with the master area."

I can hear the pride in his voice, as he should be proud.

"I love how big and bright it is in here." I giggle as my eyes still roam.

"What are you laughing about?"

"It almost looks like your home is set up to be staged, I meant what I said, it's beautiful, but you need some throw blankets, some pillows. A centerpiece on that gorgeous table you have."

I look back at Beckett hoping I didn't offend him. He tugs me closer to him and stares down at me.

"Not to sound presumptuous sweetheart, but when I was remodeling I kept you in mind. I know this is new but I know you're it for me and when the time comes, I want you to move in and make this place a home."

I'm not even sure how to respond to that. He must not expect a response because he kisses me softly on the forehead.

"Come on, let's go put these on the grill."

I follow him out the sliding glass doors that lead to the patio. I gasp in awe as I take in the view. The patio is made of stones, there is a stone path that leads down closer to the lake where he has a fire pit. There are lounge chairs on the patio with matching chairs at the fire pit. He has a seating area with a table in the middle.

"Have a seat baby, it won't take long for dinner to be ready. Do you want some wine, or beer?"

"Wine please."

I do as he says and sit while I take it all in. I lay back and sip on the wine he brought me and relax. I could definitely get used to a view like this. Not much is said while he is manning the grill and I'm soaking it all in. I'm not complaining about the lack of conversation though. Just being here is enough for me.

"Are you ready to eat?"

I look over at the table and see he already has it set up for us. I glance up to see a smiling Beckett.

"I didn't even realize you were done, I could have helped."

"No, you wouldn't have. I wanted you to relax while I took care of you. Come on."

He helps me to my feed and leads me to the table.

"Wow, this looks delicious, thank you Becks. You keep this up and I may never leave." I giggle as I settle in my seat.

He chuckles, "that's the plan sweetheart."
