Back at the palace, Ariel was still upset by the fact that King Poseidon was forcing her to marry him against her will.
As she sat on a couch and continued pouting, the maids came into her room trying to get her to fit her wedding dress.
"Come now, miss." said the first maid."The king wants his bride to look as beautiful as possible for the wedding."

"What's the big deal? He said the wedding is only 3 days away." Ariel groaned in aggravation. "And how could I possibly marry King Poseidon? I don't love him."

"Shh, quiet now!" said the second maid."We're just here to help you into your dress. Please don't make this any more difficult if you don't want to anger King Poseidon."
"I'd rather face the consequences." Ariel rolls her eyes as she tried on the wedding dress.

"We're almost done." said the third maid."Almost..."

The third maid placed a large veil over Ariel's head as the maids finished pinning up her hair and adjusted the train of her gown.

"There we go!" said the second maid."Don't you look absolutely beautiful?"

"Yeah....beautiful...." Ariel mumbled to herself as she looked in the mirror.
The three maids all looked admiringly at Ariel.
"King Poseidon is definitely going to love this." the first maid smiled.

"He sure will." said the second maid."Just look at you. Just look at you. You're a vision! You're gorgeous."

"Maids! I'd like to see my new bride in her wedding gown, immediately!" King Poseidon yelled from his throne room.
The three maids tensed up, then looked back at Ariel before one of them spoke up.
"Of course, King Poseidon sir!" the first maid said."Right away, sire!"
The maids each grabbed a piece of Ariel's gown and slowly guided her out of her room and over to the entrance of the throne room.

"Oh Barley, where could you be?" Ariel thought to herself.
King Poseidon was in his throne room waiting for his future queen. The king was fiddling with his trident when he spotted the three maids slowly guiding Ariel into the room.
Once she saw King Poseidon, Ariel felt a slight shiver down her spine and her stomach turned. She really wished Barley, Ian and Isabela were there.

A huge smile plastered on his face when he saw Ariel in her gorgeous wedding gown. Poseidon stood up from his throne and walked towards her, admiring her beauty.

"You look exquisite. Positively divine." he said.

Ariel fake smiled at Poseidon's compliment, even though on the inside she was disgusted by him. "Thank you, so much."
Poseidon gently placed his hand under her chin, gently lifting her head so she could look up at him.

"Not even words can describe how beautiful you look." said Poseidon as he began to circle her.

"This gown... These lovely curls... These eyes..." he smiled."You are utterly intoxicating, my dear."

"I think I gonna be sick." Ariel thought to herself as she continued to fake smile at Poseidon.

Poseidon soon stopped circling her, and came to stand in front of her. He continued to admire her like she was a priceless piece of art.

"Ah, the day has finally come." he sighed."For centuries, I've been longing to have a queen in my life. Someone who is just as strong and powerful, like myself. And my wish has finally been granted."

"I bet it has." Ariel says sarcastically in her head but kept a fake smile on her face.

Poseidon placed a hand on her shoulder.

"But more importantly, you are gorgeous." he complimented her again."I've never seen a woman more beautiful than you are. And now, I'll have the honor of calling you... mine."
